Chapter 50: The Temple.

Ashok asked the system, "＼( °□° )／What did I feel just now, was it some kind of energy?"

[Ding… It was a protection barrier, To keeps away Yin attributed spirits and also scans the people]

"Spirits …Did I hear you wrong... There are spirits in this planet" exclaimed Ashok.

Justin noticed Ashok was making weird faces, he asked "What happened to you?"

"Do you think ghosts are real?" Replied Ashok.

"Maybe, I don't know for sure, Until now I haven't seen a ghost but I remember grandpa telling me stories of ghosts all the time, he said that ghosts don't usually attack people they are attracted to negative emotions so I shouldn't cry or a ghost be attracted and will try to take over my body, But those are all a bunch of lies told by parents to make children listen to them" Justin laughed.

Ashok felt shivers down his spine, ' Justin may think that what gramps told him are all bunch of lies, even if someone said to me that ghosts are even I may not believe them but system can't lie to me'

"You are right...（︶︿︶） How can ghosts be real"

"(゜-゜) , system here I am trying to console myself and you keep making me scared"

Ashok kept complaining to system but system didn't respond, on the other side Justin was witnessing the ever changing expressions of Ashok.

A monk came down from the restricted section of the temple and started to search for Ashok.

He stood near the big Buddha statue and kept meditating.

At this time Ashok and Justin were taking pictures near the Buddha statue, Monk noticed the abnormality of Ashok and concluded that this was the person who the Abbot asked him to bring to him. He approached them.

"Excuse me, Can you two please come with me" said the monk in a kind tone.

Justin looked at the monk and directly defined him as a scammer, "Ashok lets go quickly, I think He is a scammer, he definitely wants to scam us. I have read about it online. The fake monks promise to take tourists to the restricted area and then rob them".

"Is there such a thing?" shocked Ashok expressed his grief.

The monk also noticed that the duo is not willing to comply, "You can rest assured I am not a scammer".

Then he showed a badge to them, "Now are you willing to come with me" said the Monk looking towards Ashok with a kind smile.

"Let's just go and see what's this all about" Ashok Whispered in Justin's ear.

"No we shouldn't, He is clearly a scammer how did believe him" Retorted Justin.

"Don't worry about anything did you forget I practiced karate, if things go south I can still handle it, I have a great gut feeling that we won't be harmed"

Justin hesitantly followed the monk with Ashok.

After a few minutes of walk they arrived near a mountain gate, Ashok and Justin could see the top of the mountain covered by mist. It looked mysterious and ancient.

Monk stopped near the gate and said, "From this point on I can't accompany you my apologies please go up the mountain the Abbot is waiting for you"

Ashok and Justin nodded, "This feels too real to be a scam, What do you think?"

Justin looked at Ashok but he was already immersed in the beauty of the mountain.

Justin couldn't see the peculiarity of the mountain but Ashok could clearly see it.

Ashok could see a golden dragon circling around the temple.

"System, Is that a real dragon"

The mood Ashok had was ruined by system.

The dragon projection entered the clouds and vanished. Ashok was still looking at the spot the dragon disappeared 'I still have a lot to see in this world'.

Ashok with Justin both reached the top of the mountain at the top the architecture was ancient Japanese. A cheery blossom trees were on the path to the entrance. Justin and Ashok were both in awe.

"You've arrived…"

Both looked towards the origin of the sound, but no one was there to be seen.

"Come in the Meditation hall I am waiting for you there" the voice sounded again.
