General Ning furrowed his brow when he saw how quickly Lilith backed down from a single word from Shen Xia. He was now wondering if she was human or not too. "Quickly get over here."

Shen Xia nodded, not saying anything to the General but paused her steps when she got to Lilith and whispered: "Be ready to act just in case."

Lilith patted Shen Xia on the shoulder and nodded her head: "Good luck." She did not know what Shen Xia had planned, but if she was willing to go up to face the General, then she must have an idea of what she was doing.
