Dream

       Evening had finally come. Kira was exhausted as hell. She's never done more than a mere brushing, bathing and slipping into her clothes. But even with the exhaustion, she was still happy. She spent a lot of time with Maddy, and it was worth it. She got to know her more..

"thanks for everything!". She said as they wrapped up to leave

"thank me for what? I should be the one thanking you for the help you rendered". Maddy said. She really appreciated kira for the help. She felt so grateful.

"no worries. Let me drop you off.  Come on..". Kira pulled before she could protest.

"byee". Maddy watched the car drive away. She sighed in content. Kira was a nice lady and a good friend. She went up to her apartment and slumped on the couch.

"ouch". She shrieked as she felt her bone had hit something hard. She stood up from the couch to take a good look at it. The foam in the couch had entered inside, making the woods pop out. She shrikes as she looked at her arm. It was already swollen. She sighed. Poor people really do suffer.

She entered the bedroom, that's when she realised Evie wasn't even home.  "where would she be?". She mumbled.

        Evie had gone out after Maddy left for work. She was getting thin by the day and she didn't really like it. Not all girls want to become a model.. She had an eben better dream: actress. She was gonna purse that dream starting today.

"yea, more spice please!".  She told the vendor.

"more spice? Its already too spicy ma'am".

"are you the one eating it? Or are you giving it to me for free?". She retorted.

The vendor looked at the skinny lady before him before adding more spice. He gave it to her with reluctance. Evie practically dragged the plate, went to the bench nearby and began eating.

         A flashy car passed by. Inside seated Marcus, arms crossed, facing the window as he watched the girl sitting down, eating as if her life depended on it. Even though she looked pretty red at the moment, she was still looking cute and it pulled Marcus's interest. Why was he suddenly admiring this young lady whom he had just seen for the first time? Suddenly, she started coughing.

"stop!". Marcus voiced out to his driver without even realising. He suddenly realised what he said and sighed. What was wrong? "keep going!". He instructed. He took one good look at her before she was out of sight, and probably for good. Afterall, he was leaving the country.

        Evie was done eating. She got up and paid the vendor before leaving. Now she had energy to go about and pursue her dreams. She moved from place to place, there were plenty of jobs around but she knew what she was looking for.

After walking around for so long. She gave up. She sat down and began fanning herself with her hands.

"tch, what a waste of time..".she sighed again.

"hey..". A lady voice sounded in front of her. She snapped out of her thoughts.

"Huh..?".

She stared at the blond lady in front of her and the one word she used in summarizing her was ...Classy! She looked familiar though.

The lady chuckled lightly. "come..". She beckoned. Confused as she was, Evie stood up and followed the lady who walked to her and her driver opened the back seat for her. Evie hesitantly stepped in.

"Am Gwen!". The woman introduced.

"oh...".

"so..". The lady continued. "I run a movie industry, and I want you to be part of the new movie am about to air!". That's when realisation hit her. Gwen movie industry, the top ten Best...D- Gwen. Whoa....was this real? She pinched her self! Yep, it was real. She wanted to squeal right now.

"so what do you say?". The lady asked.."you can go home and think it...".

"NO! I agree!". Evie replied immediately. She didn't want to miss this one time opportunity.

     Gwen chuckled again.

"alright. Here's my business card! Come to Tribeca by 7:00 am tomorrow. I do not like lateness!". She said, and Evie nodded.

"thanks you ma!". Evie said and stepped out. Immediately the car was out of sight, Evie squealed. She couldn't contain her joy.

        The moon ate up the sun and darkness covered the clouds. Maddy paced about helplessly outside, waiting for her step sis.

She couldn't call. Neither of them had a phone. She sighed on seeing that the person she thought was Evie wasn't. Thank Goodness she didn't act according to what her head was instructing - Grab and smack!

     Evie got home humming to herself. She was really happy. Just when she was about stepping in, someone grabbed her arm forcefully. She was about to scream in terror, and when she caught a glimpse of who held her arm, her fear quadrupled. Maddy!

"geez ! You hit me too hard. Am supposed to look pretty tomorrow, not look like a girl beaten by her insane sis". Evie grumbled.

"You deserved it. You got me..". She sighed and walked in.

"uhhhh, I got you worried. Awwn! ". Evie squealed before entering the bedroom her sis previously walked into. She quickly took off her clothes and sat on the floor. She began daydreaming about being an actress. Maddy watched her step sis and sighed ." She's really going crazy!". She changed into a comfortable dress and laid down on the bed.

"Evie.. ".

"Evie ..". Still no response.

"When you're done, go to sleep so you can wake up early!". That was the magic words, since Evie jumped to bed and shut her eyes.
