Jessica: "You think it's safe to hold this festival, since the murders?"
Patrick: "I'm sure we will be fine, but I do understand your concern."
They left the house and a some minutes later they arrived at the festival. Fireworks exploded in beautiful rays of light. Everyone was dancing and having a wonderful time, despite recent events.
Jerry saw them and walked over to join them.
Jerry: "Are you two having fun?"
Patrick: "It's wonderful Jerry, but I have an uneasy feeling about tonight."
Jessica: "You always have that feeling about stuff."
Jerry: "Lighten up Patrick. You will have that feeling all night. Might as well have fun while you can."
Patrick: "Yeah I guess your right as always."
Jerry: "Well I have to go home early. See if the wife is ok."
Jessica: "Tell her I wish her a quick recovery."
Jerry nodded and walked away. They decided that it was time to go home as well. Once home, they were tired from dancing. While they were getting ready for bed, Patrick saw a letter folded on the table in the kitchen. He started reading the letter.
Patrick: "Jessica! Grab a few items! We are leaving now!"
Jessica: "Why what is happening?"
Patrick: "I'll tell you once we are in the car and leaving!"
They grabbed small essential items and left. Now heading out of town, he decided it was time to tell her what has him in terror.
Patrick: "In the kitchen there was a letter that said Your Next. But it was covered in blood. I thought it was a joke but then next to the letter was a finger with a ring on it. The same ring Jerry had."
Jessica: "Watch out!"
*Smash*
A deer has slammed into their car, sending them into a spiral, and into the forest. They hit several small trees and flipped a few times before slamming into a group of trees stopping them. Jessica was unconscious. Patrick, now bleeding from his head, heard some leaves crunching behind them. They were footsteps and they were drawing closer. When they got to the car they stopped at Patrick's driver door.
