Nightmare

At midnight,Zhang Wei didn't woke up nor did he cried but Yiyi felt a strange heat in her arms. She opened her sleepy eyes and checked upon Liang Ren. His body temperature was normal and there wasn't anything unusual. Then she checked up on Zhang Wei. The little kid's body was burning up like fire. He was feeling cold and was burying his body into yiyi's belly. Yiyi was worried and shocked like hell. Just this morning,he was doing all fine but now he's burning up that's unusual. She shaked Liang Ren's shoulders tried to wake him up.

"Hey!! Wake up!! Liang Ren!!!"She kept calling him till he woke up and sat on the bed with his sleepy face.

"Wei has got fever. Send us to hospital please!!"she said in a worried tone that made his sleepiness disappear.

He carried Zhang Wei to the car and yiyi followed him with her purse and phone.

Yiyi sat in the passenger seat with Zhang Wei in her arms while Liang Ren drove the car to the hospital.

In the hospital,there was only one doctor on his night duty. He checked up on Zhang Wei and gave him an injection and did something to reduce her fever.

"I've given him the injection. Buy these medicines and feed him in the morning and night. He would be better soon."The doctor said while passing a list of medicines to the two of them.

The doctor added,"And ...the next time don't just think about your personal pleasure,Take care of your son so you won't have to come back here again!" The doctor was looking at Yiyi's hickey all those times,only then yiyi realised that Liang Ren sucked her neck hard just 2 hours ago and she glared at Liang Ren who was giggling.

They bought the medicine and took Zhang Wei out of the hospital.

On the way home,Yiyi kept a cold expression on her face,"Did you gave him an ice cream to eat today??"She raised her eyebrows looking at him with curiousity and anger.

"Uhm....Yeah....He asked for it!!" he defended himself and yiyi glared at him like she would swallow him.

"I—I a—am sorry! I didn't knew it would turn out like this. It's all my fault. I shouldn't have agreed to his request."he was feeling guilty now and it softened yiyi's heart.

"Shhh .... It's okay....You are a great dad!!"she comforted him while caressing Zhang Wei's head.

"Am I? Really??"Liang Ren was overjoyed and looked at yiyi to confirm what she just said was true.

"Yeah! You're not that great like me but you're still great !!"SHE felt a little shy and her cheeks were red.

Liang Ren just smiled wide and stopped the car in the front of the villa,Then he carried Zhang Wei upstairs to Yiyi's room.

Yiyi sat down on the bed beside Zhang Wei and stared at him intensely .

She kept staring at her son for ten minutes until she spoke again. "I think You should go back to your room to sleep!"

Liang Ren patted her back and then hugged her lightly. "He's gonna be just fine. Don't get stressed. It's okay.... It's just a little fever. He's strong!!"Yiyi could hear the comfort words from him and she can also feel the warmth feeling from his body.

She broke the hug and looked at him in his eyes. "Go back to your room and sleep!"she ordered him but he refused.

"No! I want to stay with you!"

"Oh come on....Zhang Wei is sick ...You can't sleep here with us or you will get sick too.!"she tried to persuade him.

"And what about you? Won't you get sick too?"he was not letting her off the hook.

"I'm his mother... Nothing will happen to me. I'm used to it!"

"No! I want to sleep here and i won't go anywhere or i won't sleep and we can just talk about something like anything!"Yiyi knew that he was stubborn and won't listen to her no matter how hard she tries to convince him so she can just sit and talk with him about his 'anything'.

"Sure! What do you wanna talk about?"She motioned him to sit beside her which he gladly did.

"Anything! Just anything!"he tried to think about some topics to talk with her but all he could think of was 'anything'.

"Okay! What's your biggest fear?"she turned off the lights so that Zhang Wei won't be uncomfortable and the Dim moonlight that came straight from the window lit up the room.

"Waking up someday and finding out that this isn't real....You are not real , Zhang Wei is not real

....None of these are real... It's scary ..... It's scary knowing that any time could be the last time i talk to you ....."he replied quietly.

"Okay.....What is one decision you wish you didn't make?"she asked again.

"umm....Not celebrating our wedding night? "

Yiyi was so done with his thick skin but still she kept asking.

"Are you obsessed with something right now?"

"Yeah....You!"he replied flirtatiously.

"What are your personal goals?"

"Making you fall for me...!!"

"What does a perfect world look like to you?"

"You,Me and our son!"

"Who was your childhood sweetheart?"

"No one.."

"Who was your first love??"

"You ...!"he said in a deep voice that made yiyi regret for asking this question.

"Are you afraid to be alone?"

"Yeah... I'm afraid to be alone without you!"

"Do you suffer from a reoccurring nightmare? If so, what happens in it?"Now,she asked some professional questions.

"I see thousands of people chasing me and i get lost in the crowd. There is someone who i feel familiar to but i can't remember that person's face or name. They come closer to me and then snatch away every important person in my life. I feel Powerless and i can't do anything. I'm just like a living corpse. Everyone leaves me and i am alone then someone comes and tries to push me off a cliff and then everything gets blank....I just hear some familiar voices but i can't see anything. I want to call them but there's no voice.......!!"he described his nightmare.

"Nothing has ever helped this. I just need to learn to live with the face that sleeping will always be a nightmare,literally" Yiyi felt sorry for him after he finished speaking.
