"Look! My mascara is too expensive to ruin it by crying,but just know that I'm feeling a lot of things on the inside."

"You don't have your mascara on!" he replied with a 'I am angry with you' look.

"Huh?? Where did it go?" she was confused.

"I bathed you last night and stop acting like you're shy or angry. I'm your husband and I've the rights to see your body.!"

Yiyi stood there speechless and Liang Ren took advantage of it by holding her in bridal style and heading towards the bedroom. He threw her on the bed,hovered above her but didn't did anything else.

"Let me explain it to you!.......And then— Hey! Are you even listening?" He was explaining the last night incident to her but she had a 'I'm not here' look on her face.

"Yeah! It just takes me a while to process so much stupid all at once." She tried to push him away but she felt powerless.

"You are not my favorite person today!!"She exclaimed.

"I'm not your favourite person on any day!"

"I hate you!"

"Why? I'm lovely!" He frowned.

"You look..." Before she could say something Liang Ren interrupted her.

"Beautiful,I know. Can we move on?"

"Fuck! No!" she yelled still struggling to push him away.

"Stop Cursing! I don't like it When you curse! Right now,i Don't know if i want to kiss you or shove you off a bridge." he seemed a little angry.

"Can i pick??" "Hell No!"

"Are you clinically insane or incredibly annoying?" she asked him.

"I don't know. Probably both."

"Can you please let me go back?"She pleaded but her words fell into deaf ears.

"No! I'm not letting you go anywhere!"

"Please...."

"No. Just sleep! " He hugged her and laid down.

"But why? I'm not sleepy!"

"I didn't slept well last night because of you. Aren't you gonna pay for that?"he buried his face in her neck. This was the best spot for him to be.

"But—"

"Shh!" She knew that he won't change his decisions no matter what happens so she just let him sleep with her back facing him.

Half an hour later, Liang Ren couldn't sleep so he was lightly tracing "I Love you" over and over again on her back , assuming that she was asleep. Then he laid on his back facing her back, getting ready to sleep. He felt a strange sensation in his body and his heart was pounding. But soon he fell asleep.

Yiyi moved closer and wrapped her arms around him and whispered softly," I love you too" .

She then remembered about her little son and got worried. She texted Liu Wei, asking about Zhang Wei and to come pick her up. Then she tried to find some wearable clothes in his closest for her. Her innerwears were all dried now so she changed. She was wearing his white shirt,and shorts. She took her phone and bag and headed out.

Downstairs,Liu Wei was waiting for her arrival.

"Oh! So you're still alive!" Liu Wei said in a sarcastic voice.

"Don't sound so disappointed,I might think You don't like me!"she pouted and got inside the car.

"So how was your night?" Liu Wei asked with a smug look on his face.

"You did that, Didn't you?"she glared at him.

"Whatever it is, i didn't do it!" he avoided eye contact with her.

"You always say that , and i never believe you!...I saw you using your phone to make a video.!" The car drove towards their apartment.

"How do you remember that? You were very unconscious at the time!" he exclaimed in shock.

"I knew it was you! Don't talk to me ever again! You're no longer my friend. We're just roommates!" Liu Wei tried to persuade her but it was all of no use.

He betrayed his bestfriend and that's the fact. The saddest thing of betrayal isn't how you got betrayed , but by who.

The whole ride was silent so Liu Wei explained.

"I just thought it would be safer if you're with him, he's your husband."

"Yeah! He's my husband. Did you forgot that i attempted suicide because of that mothrfucking husband? He has slapped me two times and you think that it would be safer to be with him. HUh?? Tell me."she vented her anger on him.

"Okay! I admit that it was my mistake and i Apologize for it! But why are you pretending that you don't like him,i saw you yesterday being all lovey dovey in his arms with my own eyes! You kept screaming his name and you even tried to force a kiss on him but he's a gentleman,he didn't took advantage of you and also didn't let you kiss him." His mouth twitched.

"WoW! You're saying he's a gentleman! That mothrfucking gentleman made me pregnant four years ago,he bathed me when i was unconscious,dressed me in his clothes and even slept with me cuddling and all this morning. Isn't that what you call gentleman?"

"Pfft! Hahaha!! You guys are a married couple, it's normal for a husband to take care of his drunk wife!" Liu Wei burst out laughing at her explanation.

"Shut up! You traitor!" she slapped his arms.

Her phone rang and the caller ID said 'Unknown'

"Fuck!" she cursed and tried to calm herself down.

"Who's that?"Liu Wei asked curiously.

"I can't be sure....But i think it's a human!" she answered foolishly.

"Give it to me!" saying this he snatched her phone and answered it.

"Hello! Who is it?" Liu Wei asked politely.

"Pass the phone to her!" Liang Ren's cold voice sounded from the other side.

"Hello?" Yiyi pressed the phone against her ear but wasn't saying anything.

"Did you get my note?" she faked a smile.

"Of course I got it. You taped it to my forehead while I was sleeping" He said in a loud voice that made Liu Wei laugh at her stupidity.

"Uh— I thought you won't read it so i had to do that!"

"Tell me! WHY DID YOU RAN AWAY??" he asked coldly.

"Uh— I—I wanted to go back to Zhang Wei."

"Listen! I know you're still upset with me about that thing I don't like to talk about,but—"

"That thing you don't like to talk about was last night . Oddly enough,there are other reasons why I'm upset with you right now!" she explained it to him.

"I am sorry!" he apologized.

"Sorry doesn't fix anything." she didn't bought it.

"What do you want then?" he was helpless when it comes to love.

"Break! Please give us a break!"

"Wasn't three days enough?"he asked in an inquiring tone.

"No,it wasn't. I need a break from you,your life,your body. I— I just don't know what to do? You're really dangerous! I don't even know when i will die in your hands. I—I am just not sure what to do with you! Earlier,I used to think that we will get divorce but lately we're getting in each other's way too much! Please try to understand.!"

"Do you love me?" he asked in a low voice.

"No! I—I don't know—"

"I was just kind of hoping you'd. You know.....fall in love with me!! It's okay.... you don't have to love me.

.....I will give you what you want.....I won't disturb you again." He took a deep sigh and hanged up.

Her eyes were blurred with tears and her face became red. Liu Wei parked the car in the side and gave her a warm hug. He knew that she loves him but she's scared of him that's why she wants to let him out of Zhang Wei's life.
