Set in the city of Tokyo, Japan. The world ended after the explosion of a Chemical Plant alongside a virus, leaving the remaining survivors of Tokyo to retreat to an underground base, governed by the Prime Minister of Tokyo, the outside world inhabitable to them.

THE AWAKENING: BIO-GENETICS

"Ten your 20... what do you see?!" Shino said through the comm in his ear.

"The Kaijus are clustered around the target," he replied.

"Okay we need to distract them, but we must do it accordingly. '' Shino states, cocking his two guns, it made an automatic startup sound. He was all geared up and ready for battle, in his combat uniform along with the others, wearing camouflage trousers and jackets.

"Kaneki you're with me" he states facing Kaneki hiding at the other boulder.

He gave a slight nod, cocking his gun.

"The rest come out on my mark" he said to his comm, to everyone else in hiding.

``We have to get this right, there's no room for mistakes' Shino thought with shaky eyes, taking a deep breath.

"You got it Shino-san" Ten hissed.

"NOW!" Shino shouts as he comes out of hiding followed by Kaneki as they fire at the Kaiju robots in high alert.
