Set in the city of Tokyo, Japan. The world ended after the explosion of a Chemical Plant alongside a virus, leaving the remaining survivors of Tokyo to retreat to an underground base, governed by the Prime Minister of Tokyo, the outside world inhabitable to them.

THE AWAKENING: BIO-GENETICS

They turned to the sound, seeing General Anzai, Sergeant Tori along with Hachiro as they stopped their Hellhounds, stepping down from it and hurrying to them.

"General Anzai" Touka said with shaky eyes, warmth flooding her chest at the sight of him.

"Touka-san" Hachiro rushed as he pulled her in a hug stunning her. But she made no attempt to pull away from his embrace.

Anzai pulled away, observing the scene and then back at them, their cuts, bruises, torn uniform, like they all went through hell, he was glad they were alive most especially Hiro but he couldn't express his happiness, because what he saw around was total destruction, something big must have happened.

"What happened?" He asked, a strain in his tone.

Mosu and San took harsh breath, still on foot walking the path surrounded with buildings. Under the scorching hot it made everything more tiring.
