Hallie Morgan lifted her head, involuntarily turning to look at Dylan Collins.

Her lips moved, but she couldn't find the words to express her gratitude. All she could do was silently store these feelings away in her heart.

Even if it was simply because she was his wife that he chose to protect her, it meant more than enough.

Because he really didn't need to, especially at the cost of upsetting the Elder Generation of the family.

"What did you say?"

Olive Campbell turned to Logan Collins, "Dad, look at him. He and Hallie Morgan have been married for just a few days, and he has already started to argue with his elders under her influence. Who knows what outrageous things he'll do in the future? I gave him some slack because I watched him grow up, but what might others in the family think? They may misinterpret his actions, assuming that he's disregarding family ties and ethics for a woman."
