Reminded

Nonetheless, Zhao Ying insisted that Li Ran should eat at least a little bit.

The meal was ready after a short while.

It was a simple dish of cabbages. Zhao Ying had mixed the cabbages with some vinegar. A couple of the cabbages' leaves had turned yellow, but Zhao Ying did not want to throw them away.

Besides, they were still edible.

"This is great. It's been such a long time since I felt so cozy," praised Li Ran.

Zhao Ying appreciated what Li Ran said. She took out a cucumber and washed it. After that, she sliced and placed it on the plate.

"Yes, I've never been so sick of noodles and bread in my life."

Gu Zhao chuckled.

"Zhao Zhao can never get tired of noodles."

Li Ran patted Gu Zhao's head. She smiled and said, "I'll bring you some noodles next time."

"Thank you, sister Li Ran!"

Zhao Ying was smiling as well.

Although the dishes she had made were simple, she was very satisfied.
