CHAPTER 17: The Element

I looked upwards and saw Valek standing in front of me. He was getting wet in the rain.

"What happened?" I asked him as I rolled myself over the pillow on the ground.

Just as I got off it, the water pillow splashed on the ground. Surprisingly, I didn't get wet at all. I picked myself up. I wasn't getting wet from the rain. There was some kind of an invisible shield formed around me. The drops dropped down without even touching me. On the other side about Valek, well he had gotten all wet.

"What is happening to me?" I asked Valek. This time I didn't feel anything strange. I actually enjoyed it. "I did that?"

"Yes."

"And if I hadn't, I would have fallen down and broken my bones by now?"

"Yes, precisely."

"You are so in trouble Valek Death."

"Save it. I have something to show you."

"What?"

"Come with me."

Valek and I walked down the street, passing all the houses. There were some woods just outside the town.

"Are you going to feed me to the bears?"
