I was wandering alone, aimlessly without a plan just looking for Liz. 'She should be here'
I kept thinking about this. She jumped through the portal and I followed suit. What I needed do at the moment was look for her. I wandered into an unknown street. It looked lonely. I could feel the aura of despair in the inhabitants of that street. I decided quickly to take my leave but a group of men surrounded me. It was almost as if the were in a gang.
"hey kid you shouldn't be here!"
I heard a voice from one of them. It was difficult identifying it.
" Wow look at his clothes you have to be from a high class family"
came another voice.
"We should kidnap him. The would pay us huge for his release. We're gonna be rich boys Hahahahaha!"
As soon as he finished saying that, the all followed in his laughter of victory. I was really scared deep down.
"but first we need to secure our treasure. Come boy!"
He said as he reached out his arm in an attempt to grab mine.
"That's enough!"
A voice from the other side of the street echoed.
"Huh! who the hell is this trouble maker scram before we remember you!"
A guy from the crowd said.
"I hate repeating myself so I'll say this. Leave the boy alone."
"Seems we have no choice then. Boys get em!!" another voice from the crowd said.
The all ran towards him in an attempt to beat him up. I watched on but what happens next shocked me. Why you might ask? because I was watching without blinking an eye and those men that were after me and changed course for the stranger had all been annihilated. Their body parts splattered all over the place. I became scared and screamed for my life as the stranger came closer.
"Be calm Harris it is I."
The stranger said. I wasn't sure who it was. the person seemed to know me and more about what was happening.
As he came closer I could see his face now. It was Eldridge. One of the Time Triplets.
"Oh it's you Eldridge. Thank God for your safety. How did you manage to escape? I remember you stalling for I and Liz to escape."
" It seems to me you escape safely. Where is Elizabeth? she should be with you."
as soon as he said this, I froze up. I had no idea how to answer him. I had no clue to where she was or where I was.
" Harris answer me where is she? She's with you right?"
"Umm about that, she isn't here right now. "
I said, in an attempt to hide my nescience.
"Oh I had no idea I figured she'd be here with you."
"She isn't at the moment but she'll come around. I'm sure."
As we finished with our little chat we started hearing noises at the other end of the street.
We followed the source of the ruckus until we got out of the initial street to a slightly broader one. Shops everywhere. I could see what looked like a procession going on. Soldiers with full body armor marching excellently in a pattern of splendor. Men on horses that were as white as snow. I looked to see if Eldridge was seeing this sight for sore eyes and he was! but the look in his eyes were different from mine. I had been looking at the the finely clothed soldiers and horses that I forgot what was the main sight of attraction. In the middle of the procession stood a chariot with no doors on each end. In it sat a woman decorated in such a way she wasn't of this world. I looked closely at the woman but couldn't see her face but I did know one thing though. If I did I wouldn't be able to get it off my mind as she was going to be an excellent work of nature's art.
Soon after the procession was over, Eldridge asked for us to follow the deeply suspicious woman in the chariot. We stalked her until she got to a certain building. The building was so fine looking I could have sworn it was a palace. When she got there she highlighted from the Chariot, dressed in white and had a veil cover her face. She was really tall. The height matched a prescription of someone in my mind, just couldn't remember who it was. I looked to my right, the direction in which Eldridge stood but he wasn't there anymore. He had made advancement towards the woman but was stopped by her guards.
"Who dares approach the Queen."
A guard asked loudly
"Step aside mundane I have no time for games."
"You shall not pass!"
Things were getting tense until the 'queen' spoke.
"Let him pass. I know this peasant."
"Peasant you say? How long has it been, sister?"
Those were his words. he called her sister. This means she's family and that would also make her a god.
"Wait sister? I thought you only had one; Liz?"
"Oh no I had one more. Harris meet Eachna my sister. She's the reason why Elizabeth isn't with you right now."
He found out! but how? I never said anything about that.
"Did you come looking for Elizabeth?"
She said
"Yes. I initially came looking for the boy but I realized I couldn't find Elizabeth. I was hoping she was with you. Have you seen her?"
"No I haven't. I haven't even seen any of you in years."
" You do realize my question was rhetoric in nature right?"
"And why would it be? I'm telling I don't know where she is."
He looks at her in rage and works straight to her.
"Dare me to repeat my statement again and you'll regret it Eachna
"I would love to see despair. Come at me Eldridge!"
She said putting hands into her clothes and bringing out two battle axes.
"You asked for it!"
As he finished his statement he clashed with her with what seemed to be an unnecessarily large rod. I had no idea how it was under his cloak all this time.
"You are beneath me Eachna!"
"Shiver in fear of my beauty, Eldridge!"
The shockwave of their impact was devastating, just like the buildings within a fifty metre radius were all flattened within a blink of an eye. I was caught up in the chaos and found myself in deaths door not long after. When I eventually came through, I saw a crack in reality right before my very eyes. Space Time was wounded beyond recognition and in that moment I realized. There was a Glitch in Time.
