Gauri POV (Roshan's mother)

As a wife of the army man and mother of the army man. I always stay strong and wanted my would-be daughter-in-law to do the same.

When my son told me about his love for Hasanthi, I doubted her feelings for my son. Then the way she stood against their parents for my son, I was impressed with her thinking. The way she respects my son, I accepted her as my daughter-in-law. Before marriage, she left her family and came with us.

Then I understand how much she loves my son. After their marriage, she always treats us like their own parents. She becomes another daughter to me. She always had a special bond with my husband as I was always a tough woman.

Suddenly one day, we got a call from the army hospital that my son is injured badly and in critical condition. We left pragathi with Hasanthi lying that we were going to some relative's marriage.

When we reached the hospital, I saw my son in terrible condition. We could not stop my tears. But he told us to not crying as he is dying for his nation.

" Ammaa... I have a last wish. Please promise me that you fulfill for me" Roshan asked with difficulty.

" Yes....dear...I promise" I hold his palm while crying.

" Amma...Hasi left everyone for me. But I am leaving her alone. Please find a perfect person for her and arrange a marriage with him. I know about her love for me. She will never agree to it but it's your duty. From now, treat her like your own daughter....please....promise me amma...." He said breathing heavily.

" Amma..." He looked at me with hope. ...then We saw a straight line on the monitor.

" I promise you ...son...I will give her new life" I cried holding his hand.

After my son's death, her parents came to take her back but she didn't leave us and stayed with us. I understood it was not an easy task to convince her for a second marriage. I always used to show cold shoulder but she never raised her voice on me.

At the bottom of my heart, I felt guilty to behave rudely with her but I know if we show so much love and care. She never leaves us.

2 years completed.....

After my son's death, she always visits his grave every Sunday. I always feel how unluckily my son is to not take her love. Days were passing but there is no change in her behavior.

I started abusing them for everything but still, she never shows her anger to us.

But one day, when I get a call from her principal about his son's feelings on Hasanthi. I wanted to get married in any way. I know about Sooraj, he was a nice person and well educated,  mostly a doctor.

With great difficulty, I convinced my husband to help me. Unexpectedly, we get news about the incident that happened in college. Slowly my husband understands how difficult for a woman to lead singly.

Thinking about Hasanthi, his health became complicated. Then I blackmailed her to marry Sooraj.

Finally, she agreed with my words and I arranged their marriage without any delay.

As a woman I know it is not a way to force any girl but we become old and I dont want to take any risk after a tragedic incident in college. There was no happiness in her face but I have confidence in Sooraj and faith in love for Hasanthi.

6 months completed...

Still, Hasanthi is staying with her in-laws. Then I called Sooraj to know what is going between them. He said that he will take her after one month. I understood he is telling lies...
