It was after 19h00 when she finally left the medical tent and bumped into Major Turmel for the second time that day.
"Again I am startling you, Captain," he murmured, and she glanced at him wearily.
"I am so sorry, please excuse me."
"Not so fast, Sonia. We have a date."
"Not tonight I am afraid," she replied and started to walk, but he kept her pace.
"Sorry, I don’t want to argue with you, but we do. I am going to hold you to it. We will enjoy a supper compliments of the government, then we will go to the pub for a few drinks to relax and have fun."
"I am not in the mood," her voice rose a pitch. A headache was threatening since lunchtime. She needed a shower and bed.
"Now come on, Captain."
"No, not tonight." She picked up her pace, but he blocked her way.
