Sunday morning a glimmer of sun broke through the clouds and touched her bed.

Curt was not in his usual spot and she rose.

She found the men in the kitchen, praying. She hugged Curt with so much love she thought she would burst.

"Good morning, love," his embrace tight and she kissed him.

"I will make coffee," Phillip interrupted them and she smiled.

"How do you feel?"

"The baby kicked last night for the first time." She took his hand and pressed on the spot. Another kick caused them both to laugh.

"This baby is happy," Curt said.

"Indeed, he is."

"Here you go. Tea for Sonia and coffee for us."

Taking a seat Sonia wanted to talk to Phillip. Her explosion was unnecessary.

"Don't worry about it," Phillip stopped her.

"I had no right."

"You had every right."

"Will he come back today?"

"Yes, he will." She nodded. A knock emphasised it.

"I will open." Phillip said.

Numb she watched as Tau entered her house. The shock had made way for curiosity.
