Chapter 12

[A/N: Sorry for the lack of chapters folks, it's just that recently I have arranged it to where I will graduate high school after this semester finishes and I have been drowned with homework which barely gives me any time to write these chapters, also I would have finished the chapter a few hours ago but had to take an ENTIRE course on Food Safety for a Food Handlers test(which I passed)]

[December 25th, 2008, 3 months until Tony Stark Is Kiddnapped]

Yet another week passed as more players flooded in until I eventually had a little over 135 players and 32 games running at a time and the game only continued to grow.

Other than that I also created a few random events that would activate rather randomly.

These little 'events' were things like Zombie Bosses and Hordes spawning.

I also added in Supply Drops, simple vehicles like a motorcycle and car, I even added a 'cutscene' at the end where the players who won would see themselves get picked up by a helicopter and flown away from the city, I may have even added a little hidden cutscene that would appear if a player would have happened to be infected by a zombie.

Other than that, I have solidified my position as a Third-Tier Mage and can cast a few Tier-3 spells before I run out of Mana and did some research and found a potential place to fight for money in the dark web which would be happening in a month from now in Europe, more specifically the UK.

Other than that, I also planned a trip for Ta Lo a month after Tony's capture since such a magical place is bound to have much more mana than Earth which would be beneficial to my training.

Plus, I found a neat little system feature that allows me to copy animals and/or beings and use their template as NPCs or Monsters in any of my games, and in a place like Ta Lo that will be filled with countless mythological creatures? It's a gold mine.

Sadly it does cost Points but apparently, if I copied a creature and saved it to the system it would be cheaper to create that creature than if I did not copy and save it to the system.

I found this out due to the fact that the system seemed to already copy my human body and created a template of it, making its original price from 30 points to 15.

And after learning this, I tracked down as many animals as I could on my land and copied them for the system, making them cheaper to purchase in the future.

...

A few more days pass as I continued to update and expand the game.

I have now added 4 more map variants and even added things like birds, insects, and more to the game to make it feel more alive.

And with that, the game shouldn't need any kind of update for a while, I will keep making more servers though for the players.

...

A few more days passed and it was finally time.

I boarded a plane yesterday and flew over to the UK where I am currently walking through a large crowd of people before entering a dark alley with a metal door at its end.

Entering the alley, I put on my mask before knocking on the door.

"Password?"

"Bright Dawn," I answered.

"Competing or spectating?" The man behind the door asked.

"Competing."

Suddenly I heard the screeching of metal before the door swung open revealing a large man.

"Follow me," The man covered tattoos told me.

Nodding he led me through down some stairs before we found ourselves in a large room that had multiple fighting rings with crowds surrounding them while cheering, laughing, and screaming.

The man then led me to some bald guy sitting at a table.

"John, New Contester."

The man then walked away, leaving me with the bald man.

"Stage Name?" The man asked.

"Blank," I answered.

"Mutant or Human?"

"...Mutant."

"Your rank is F and someone will come to get you in 5 minutes when your match starts," The bald man replied.

Nodding in reply, I then walked over to one of the fighting rings to find that a man with stone for skin was fighting against a man with a sword.

Most were betting that the Mutant with stone skin would win, but for some reason, I was drawn to the second man and decided to do a little gamble, and placed a $1,000 bet on the swordsmen.

And to my surprise, with a single swing of the man's sword, the mutant's head flew off.

To my surprise, I only just got here and have earned $20k within a few minutes...

And this particular event would last 24 hours before the place moves, making it much harder for the authorities to catch everyone here.

Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder and when I turned around, I found a woman standing behind me.

"Your match is about to start, please follow me."
