"The shot. The shot hit!" Ryun thought.

He was full of mixed emotions as he saw the boss turn to golden ash.

His heart was beating rapidly, but momentarily stopped as he noticed the system didn't say the mission was complete. The golden ashes of the boss didn't disappear like it normally would either.

"We did it!" said the shielder.

"No." said Ryun, "The real boss fight... it's starting now".

Suddenly the golden ashes of the boss turned blue and from it arose a large blue flame.

[System: New Boss Approaching. Time will restart.]

[Time will reset to 30 minutes after the boss has finished loading.]

[Additionally, All player will be revived and restored to full health.]

"No!" The words left Ryun's mouth instantly. "We can't win. The other players hardly lasted during the first boss, so how could we beat the second."

Ryun acted quickly. "System, Open message. Contact "X-Shadow"."

[System: What would you like to send X-Shadow?]

"Send the message "BACK UP."

[System: message sent.]

"Listen up everyone", said Ryun. "I have backup coming to help us, so I need everyone to stall until then. It won't be too long, so just give it your all."

"Got it!" said the shielder.

Everyone quickly faced the direction of the boss appearing out the blue flame. Slowly one step at a time the boss seemed to be moving from out of the flame. The boss appeared to be 6 ft tall.

The boss finally appeared from the flames and stop moving completely.

The boss had the face of a cheetah and the body of a man. He wore a long hooded tunic which covered the top of his head as though he were a wizard. His arms are folded and his eyes are closed.

"Tsk. I can't get a read on it," Ryun thought. In games like these, the game should display the stats of the boss and a health bar with numbers, but instead.. we got a bunch of question marks covering the stats which could only mean one thing...It's a.. a legendary monster."

Everyone is unsure whether to engage or not. It's rare to encounter a boss like this, let alone one that won't even acknowledge your presence.

That alone told us that we should retreat, but surprisingly no one moved, as though waiting for someone to take lead and announce the proper moves to not die. But no, no one wanted to be responsible for getting everyone killed today.

This game holds a rule similar to real life. A rule everyone loathes and even rage quits over. That rule is known as "Penalty for Death".

When a player dies a player they will be sent to a place known as the "Void". There they will be given a choice to die and lose most of their collective items or gamble all their items for and instant revive without the loss of any items. If they choose the second option, they will have to beat "Death", a boss character that one hit kills almost all players, which few if any have ever conquered.

The thing about fighting Death is that you can't use any weapons and you can't use any armor or accessories, because when you die you can't take anything with you; and that's what makes it's similar to real life.
