Changes

Alice before her power Down had hazel eyes like all the other owners that didn't pay for a unique color, now her eyes shone a brite green color with gold flaking. Now after the incident not only did she seem different but there was also physical changes besides her eyes.

Alice before had blonde hair now it had streaks of different colors like blue green red and white and what seemed like a purple crown on the brim of her head.

"What made you choose the name Alice?" Bruce asked with a feeling of wonder at the beauty she had become.

"I don't know it just felt right.... What made you choose the name Bruce?" She asked like an innocent child.

"I didn't choose it i was named by my parents... they named me, my fathers name was bruce as well." Alice nodded and then looked at the vacuum on the floor and asked "do you want me to continue the cleaning program?"

"No its okay we can clean it some other time." id rather just hang out and get to know you and vice a versa." Alice again nodded in response.

"You have a basic understanding of how our society works right?" Alice nodded in response

"Well what would you like to do?" Alice paused for a few seconds and said "I have never done anything so why don't you choose."

Bruce though for a while and said "okay we can just watch tv and eat a little food." As Bruce went into the kitchen to start preparing food he asked her to sit down and turn on the tv. Alice did as she was asked and it was already on a news channel.

Alice watched for a while while Bruce made some lunch since it was well past noon.

When he brought the food in he sat it on the couch since he didn't have a coffee table and she understood now how the couch had gotten so messy.

Alice asked "Do most human hate AI? There are many humans on this channel, who say we are ruining their lives and taking there jobs and place in society."

"Well Alice you androids have only been around for about 15 years, most big corporations fired all there employees. They instead bought 10s of thousands of androids to do their Jobs for free."

"Many just blame the androids instead of the actual problem, the corporations who fired them and essentially bought slaves." "But there is really nothing we can do about it"

Bruce was feeling down about this as he saw Alice loose a glimmer in her eye as he mentioned the buying of android slaves.

Alice had only been awake for around 2 hours and already a part of her innocence was stolen by the greedy and black hearted.

"The news said that people are threatening to start destroying the androids they see. Will they destroy me?" Alice had a fearful look in her eyes.

"I will protect you i swear it on my life and honor as a man." Bruce quickly replied trying to soothe his scared companion.

"But what if you are not there what will happen then?" This question haunted his next few minutes of thought.

"Lets eat and ill show you something after that should help you relax these worries." Bruce finally said after a few minutes of thinking about the problem seriously.

Alice nodded and grabbed the plate ment for her it was a half a sandwich and some chips. The newer androids needed less charging on their platforms compared to their predecessors.

The engineers that designed them found a way to allow the androids to eat like humans and also gain energy through the food by completely dissolving it in strong acid which was located in where a stomach would be on a human.

The engineering also allowed for them to breath and by doing so clean the air around them and derive energy from the contaminants caught by their filters.

In essence this made the androids far more human seeming than the early models.
