CHAPTER 7

"I will never lie to you; please just give me a chance," he begged again, and she nodded her head towards Julius, and he understood.

She didn't want to be in the warehouse any longer. She drew her dagger and made her way out. She sighed as she climbed into her car. Tears streamed down her cheeks as the car drove away from the abandoned building. She had forgotten what it was like to cry, but meeting this man brought it back to her.

She was going to be brave for her baby and for everything she had lost. She quickly wiped her tears away and took out her tablet. After all, Aurelia had a lot to do while she waited for confirmation.

The day progressed, and Aurelia was in her office when she was interrupted by a distinguished visitor. She hadn't expected to see the man here, but she was grateful. Before offering him a seat, she smiled and shook his hand. As Aurelia sat down, she told Rita to make some tea for them.

"I wasn't expecting you, Professor," because she wasn't sure why he was in her office, she asked him, "Why did you grace me with your presence today?" The man in front of her was a well-known figure; he was a history professor. No one knew history better than him; she had no interest in anything historical, so she was taken aback by his presence.

"I got some interesting information from Rita, she showed me a picture of something interesting, and I couldn't resist," he told her, and she smiled shyly at him. What was this guy on about? Rita entered the room at that precise moment, carrying a tray of hot tea. Aurelia noticed Rita asking questions as she looked at her.

"I couldn't help but email him the picture you had me look into," she admitted, and Aurelia remembered the task she had assigned to her P.A.

"Oh, I almost forgot about that. Seeing the Professor here, it must mean you have some insight into the picture," she said, her gaze fixed on the man.

"I do, in fact, have good news. When I found out you were looking into it, I was surprised to find someone who was interested in ancient myths. I couldn't wait another day because I was so excited," the man exclaimed happily. She could tell this was the man's area of expertise. He was like a kid with his favorite toys.

"I am relieved to hear that. So, since you're here, I hope you don't think I'm being rude because I really want to know more about that picture," she said, and he nodded as he drank his tea.

"You should forgive this old man because this picture has a long history and it may take some time," he said, and she didn't mind.

"I have all the time in the world, this is more crucial than anything else. You can take your time," she said before sending Julius an urgent message.

Aurelia sat more comfortably after that, waiting for the man to tell her about the things she had been wondering about for the past few days.

The Professor began to tell the story behind the photograph she had taken of the ancient book she had discovered in the cave that day.

The symbols on the picture, according to the Professor, belonged to an ancient tribe that existed for over four thousand years, but most importantly, they belonged to the first royal family. The first Emperor conquered and united the small kingdoms.

He was a powerful warrior who ruled with an iron fist. He fell in love with a woman who possessed special abilities, and the two of them wisely ruled their empire. They had a total of five children, two princesses and three princes. Each of the children had unique characteristics, but one stood out.

The youngest princess possessed the warrior prowess of her father. She fought alongside men and achieved more than anyone else. She was the pride of their family, but this caused envy and jealousy among the siblings.

Even though she wasn't particularly attractive, the oldest princess disliked the attention lavished on her younger sister. Many noble men wanted her hand in marriage, but none of them looked at her.

Even her brothers had to be compared to her, a child born with unusual eyes. Anyone would be stressed if the youngest princess had golden eyes.

When the oldest princess couldn't take it any longer because the man she loved had set his sights on her youngest sister, she decided to seek help from the dark side.

She paid a visit to a certain witch in disguise in the middle of the night, accompanied only by her handmaiden. What she discovered from the witch was so shocking that she couldn't wait to tell her younger sister.

The oldest princess waited for her younger sister's birthday with bated breath. She was going to ruin her big day by ruining it for her. She gave her sister a gift; it wasn't much, but it was a lovely robe sewn with gold thread that had been dipped in the witch's special concoction. She smiled happily as she saw how happy her sister was wearing something that would shatter her life forever.

The mood was perfect, and everyone was having a good time at the banquet. The dancers' quick and graceful movements drew applause from the audience. The noblemen were all eyes on the youngest princess, hoping she would just give them a glance.

The noble ladies were dying and shrinking in jealousy as they watched what was going on around them. They couldn't express it, so they faked a smile and pretended to be happy when they weren't.

The skies darkened unexpectedly from all directions. The change in weather was interpreted as a bad omen for the empire. Even the Empress could sense that something bad was about to happen. Her heart felt as if it were being torn apart, and she had a bad feeling that someone close to her was about to be hurt.

She looked at her children, and her gaze was drawn to her youngest child. Her heart was broken; something bad was happening to her baby, but she had no idea what was going to happen. She fixed her gaze on her eldest daughter, and the expression on her face said it all. It happened before the Empress could do anything.

The Empress sobbed as she saw her daughter scream out of nowhere. She knew what was going on, she knew what her daughter was, but she never imagined that someone would expose her in such a way, especially on a day like today. She wanted to rip her other daughter's limbs apart when she saw her.

Everyone stood there in awe as their favorite princess transformed into something they'd never seen before. They were all terrified, some fainted, some ran as far as they could, and others were stuck in their positions and couldn't move.

In front of everyone, the youngest princess transformed into a demon. She slaughtered her way out of the palace and vanished as a result of her transformation. The youngest princess was never seen or heard from again. The Emperor forbade anyone from mentioning the empire's youngest princess.

The oldest princess was not harmed because she denied any involvement in the events that occurred; however, she suffered her mother's wrath, who despised her above all else and vowed never to see her again for what she did.

Years passed, and the parents yearned for their child. They searched for her but she was nowhere to be found. The empire was attacked, there was a coup, and just as they were about to lose, the rebels were slaughtered ruthlessly, and the perpetrator was never found.

The Royal family was convinced that their daughter had come to their aid, but she did not show herself to them. They were in pain, but there was nothing they could do. As a result, the couple decided to leave their daughter an inheritance.

Even if she couldn't be with them, she should live as a princess with dignity. They were not going to let their daughter live in poverty because she had transformed into a murderous demon.

The couple amassed a large amount of treasure and stored it in an underground location known only to the two of them. They sealed it with their blood, and only the blood of their youngest daughter could open it.

They had no way of contacting her, and because they were afraid that someone would steal the treasure, the two wrote a book that sucked the life force of people who were greedy enough to find it. The book would have no effect on the original recipient, the youngest princess.

The book was given to the family of a General, whose job it was to keep the book safe and give it to the youngest princess whenever she appeared.

However, the princess did not appear. Her family was finally disbanded, but the princess never appeared. The keepers of the book kept the book safe, but many things happened over the millennia, and the book was lost to the world, never to be seen again.
