CHAPTER 20

"Yes, I spied on them during my first visit. So, when we return, we will contact them. Don't let them contact you first," she said, smiling as she noticed Julius' expression.

Who doesn't want to have a relationship with their children? She wished she had one of her own, but she was simply unlucky. She miscarried whenever she thought she was about to have one.

She believed she had been cursed at one point, but this was not the case. Someone was to blame for all of this, and she couldn't wait to get back at them.

"I will do that, and I thank you for doing so," Julius said, his voice genuine.

"I have nothing to do anyway; I'm just experimenting with these new abilities I'm gaining. Let's go to the cave now that we're talking about it. I'm in the mood to let off some steam," she said as she stood up.

Julius trailed after his mistress. She was becoming stronger by the day; he had no idea how she had acquired these abilities, but they were beneficial. He knew she was destined for greatness, and following such a person benefited him as well.

He was relieved that he had followed the right person; he could see how far they would go. He was going to make certain that she achieved her goals with him by her side.

Lia simply waved the door open and walked into the cave, which had been meticulously restored to its original condition. It was actually quite lovely; she had a bed with some lovely quilts on it. She sat down and closed her eyes comfortably.

If she needed to let off some steam, she knew exactly where to go. It was time to go ghost and haunt some people in order to teach them a lesson.

FEW WEEKS AGO

Aurelia turned her gaze to the woman sitting gracefully on the couch opposite her. She was drawn in because she was so beautiful. If she was interested in women, she would have fallen in love with her.

This was the mysterious woman who had called her from the gallery, waking her up.

"What do you want?" Lia asked.

"You have something of mine, and I would like it back," the woman replied and her face puzzled as Aurelia looked at the other woman with confusion.

"I don't recall ever taking anything from you. You need to be more specific," she grumbled. She despised being accused of things she had no knowledge of.

"I understand what you're thinking, Lia. Let's just say I'm special, and someone told you about the book's history, and that book is the last thing my father left to me," the woman said, and she felt she was speaking the truth.

"Are you saying you're a descendant of the book keeper or a devil princess who shouldn't be alive right now?" When Lia asked, she was confused. If she wasn't a bookkeeper, it meant she was the rumored princess. Did this imply that she was...?

"That is correct, I am that demoness, and I have been living for millennia. Killing you won't be a problem, but I can't kill you right now."

"How come you can't kill me?"

"Because my blood runs through your veins," she replied, which surprised Lia. What exactly did she mean by that?

"You have demon blood in your veins, child. It had been dormant for years, but the moment you read the book you received from that old lady, it awoke, which is why you aren't easily hurt. Have you ever wondered why you were able to access your cave or why you were able to understand all the symbols you saw?"

That made sense, but she didn't want to believe the person in front of her was a demon or demoness. She'd heard sermons about demons and all that nonsense, and it wasn't good.

She had no choice but to accept it, even though she didn't want to.

"I will return the book to you, but you must assist me. After all, I can't give you the book for free," she smiled. No demon could ever make her shiver and wet her pants. She was a mature woman.

"I like it when a woman is ambitious. What are you looking for?"

"I need a near-death experience to get rid of a certain someone. I need you to make sure I don't die and everything goes smoothly," she said, looking at her.

"That's nothing more than a sliver of a cake. I'll assist you with something even better. I'm going to show you how to accept your other side. The longer you fight it, the more it will devour you," she warned her.

"Are you suggesting that I become someone like you?"

"Is it really that bad to become like me? I will live forever because no one can kill me yet. I am strong and have everything I need, except, of course, that book. What else do you need?"

"I have to watch people I care about die, and I can't do it."

"So, you'd rather die or be killed than avenge that nasty old woman who made your life so miserable because you couldn't embrace yourself?" the woman demanded angrily.

She could see how angry she was, and at that moment, the young man rushed inside and looked at her before his boss. She watched in awe as the woman closed her eyes, which had already turned pitch black.

She could tell she was in trouble.

"It is best if you just listen and accept whatever she tells you. You don't want to see her upset," the man advised.

"Okay. So, do we have a deal?" Lia inquired of the woman, who had opened her eyes and appeared to have calmed down.

"We have a deal," she muttered to herself.

Lia exited the club as quickly as she could but in a non-suspicious manner. She had seen the face of the oldest person she could imagine and lived to tell the tale. She couldn't even tell anyone about it because she wasn't sure the woman would be pleased.

They met for the second time after that terrifying encounter, but this time it was the guy who came. He brought her a small book with a lot of instructions and a black pill that she had to swallow before jumping off the balcony. She immediately handed over the book. She didn't want them to pay her any more visits. They terrified her to death.

Similarly, she carried out her plan of provoking both Victor and Diana, which resulted in her massive incident, which caused her painful injuries, which were mitigated by the black pill she consumed prior to the ordeal.

The book had provided her with some insightful information about her other part that she was unaware of. They met for the second time after that terrifying encounter, but this time it was the guy who came.

Aurelia sighed as she entered the hospital room where Diana was soundly sleeping; she had followed her advice and swallowed the pill, which was good.

She went to the location where the captives were being held because she couldn't frighten her. She stood there, dumbfounded, as Quinton interrogated the spies. He was smoking hot. Why hadn't she noticed this before? He was going to be a nuisance; she planned to keep him busy and hoped he wouldn't fall for any of the girls' tricks.

He was a great catch, but most importantly, he was a hardworking young man. If he kept doing this, she was going to make him soar like a phoenix. They could go far with him and Julius by her side.

After becoming disgusted with everything, she returned to the mansion and slipped into Miguel's room. When she saw her bundle of joy, she smiled. Her baby was reading his books; he was working very hard in school, and she was very proud of him. She had a feeling this boy would never let her down. She approached him and ran her fingers through his hair.

He sensed it, and she smiled. He shrugged as he touched his hair. She didn't want to frighten him any further, so she kissed him lightly on the lips. She didn't wait for his reaction and went straight to the master bedroom, kissing her husband goodnight and returning to her body.

She stretched again, and she wasn't surprised to see that it was getting dark. She becomes completely absorbed whenever she is exploring in this manner.

"It's time for some food and a good night's sleep. I still have three days before this whole charade is over," she told herself as she rose from the bed.

She exited the cave and headed for the villa once she had calmed down. Things were going her way, and she just hoped they would stay that way.
