CHAPTER 32

"I'd like you to deliver a message to Eliza. Tell her that if she does anything stupid like this again, I will make you all pay," Mark warned his son.

"How can you, Father, support a young girl you've known for just over five years? We've been with you for over thirty years, but for the sake of a young girl, you abandon all morals and kick your family away?" Mathew had completely lost it, and Mark didn't appreciate hearing his own child spouting nonsense in front of him.

They could all insult him, but they couldn't insult Aurelia. He was not going to put her through any more pain after all of the agony he had caused her. It was better for her to despise him; he was content with that. He didn't want to see his own family fighting; he just had to be the bully and the bad guy.

Mark slapped his own son on the cheek and felt no remorse.

"Will you dare to say that again? Mathew, I will never forgive you. Leave my office right now, and never let me see your face again!"
