ONE MONTH LATER

Aurelia got out of the car and told Julius to wait for her until she was finished. After all, she was going to do this on her own. She walked into the parlor majestically, ignoring all the stares.

She approached the receptionist with a smile, pulling out the golden card she had received a month before and showing it to the middle-aged woman.

The woman smiled at her right away and didn't make her wait. She was led to the private elevator, which instead of going up, went down, deeper into the underground basements.

She had a hazy idea of what she was getting herself into. She had heard rumors about this particular organization, which she prefers to call a cult. It was her honor because no one else could be invited. Who was she to say no?
