Chapter 14 Noelle

Audum pulls out of his car and grabs Reece's shoulder. I close my eyes and cover my ears with my hands because never on earth can I see a hand-some blue-eyed fella getting punched.

There's obviously no expected sound in the air, it's mere a silence. Maybe I gotta open my eyes and see what's up.

I open my eyes and see Audum back in his car, he reverses it and leaves. Before I can properly grab the hold of the ongoing situation, Reece speaks, "Finally room for us two, let me drive you now" he bends over like a butler.

"What did your brother say to you?" I ask.

"You were here, obviously you know-

before he completes his sentence, I interrupt, "I had my eyes and ears closed so"

"Well, he told me not to wear shirts. He says T's and Tanks look better on me" replies Reece.

What? Is Audum Reed done with his mind? Acting so dramatic over a fashion suggestion? He's like the hardest to predict. I personally would prefer a ride with him, call me crazy but now I gotta work it out with Reece. Ugh.

"Alright" I spit as I move towards the car and sit in it with an unsual doom scattered around my aura.

"You wanted to go with him?" asks Reece as he starts the car.

"Doesn't matter to me the one who drives, I just want to get to my class on time" I spit as I sound fake as hell.

"Alright then, shall we?" says Reece as he drives along the road.

"Here's your block" says Reece after a few minutes and I get out of the car like a dead zombie.

"Thankyou, really" I turn towards him and give him a happy gesture as I don't want him to feel awkward.

Reece smiles and marks a victory with his fingers as he leaves.

I walk up to the class and sit with Bertha.

I can't help but think of the morning situation. At first, Audum makes me feel like as though he is interested in me but then as the other moment passes, he's back to him being a salty, bitter devil. Like if he was so serious about dropping me to class, why did he suddenly drop that idea. Why the hell did he change his mind?

"Why?!" I spit out loud.

"Because Rene cheated on Joshua" replies Bertha.

"What?" I look with confusion towards her.

"Joshua divorced Rene because he found out about her infidelity" replies Bertha.

I look at her with a look of despair and she points out at the book on the table, "We're studying a social situation about divorce?" she assures.

"Yeah I-" I speak as I brush my fingers through my scalp all the way back to my head.

"I think I am not feeling well, I'll have to pass this lecture" I get up, bid a bye to Bertha and leave.

This is the first time ever that I have been thinking so overly about a guy that too the one with naive and unconventional personality . I think I need some coffee to lighten my mood up.

I walk my way through the cafeteria and get my cold coffee. As I leave the café, I encounter Audum on the way.

We both stop upon seeing each other and I can tell from his gestures that he's about to say something.
