Chapter 16 Noelle

As I walk through the hallway, I realise I left my backpack in the class so I get there to pick it up. I leave the class and there's a pack coming through led by Reece.

"Hey girly!" Reece waives at me and I walk up to him.

"We're having a party at frat tonight. You know we had a little race thing today, you wanna join?" he asks.

I just feel disintegrated as hell so I'd prefer staying at dorm.

"I'd love to but I got some serious assignment to do, I am sorry" I reply to him.

"Alright then, I'll see you around tomorrow?" he says.

"Yeah, surething" I say out as he leaves with his pack.

I go back to the dorm and find Zeroni running hastily all around.

"Oh thank god you are here, Noelle" Zeroni exclaims and hugs me.

"Why? What's wrong?" I ask.

"Nothing is right baby, I literally have just two hours left to get prepared for tonight's frat party" Zeroni spits out as usual exaggeratedly as if it's her wedding! Gawd, I wish I could tell her how much I hate her.

"What do what me to do?" I inquire.

"You? Uhm maybe just help with my dress-up? Look I think this dress will be perfect for tonight but then I already wore it like a week ago at Nate's party so I don't know..." she goes on mumbling while adjusting her strapless black mini skirt dress infront of the mirror.

I put down my backpack on the study and sit on the sofa adjacent to it, the same sofa on which Audum slept last time. Ugh this man is all over my mind and I am sick of him!

"Noelle?" Zeroni calls out from the bathroom.

"Coming!" I shout and go up to her.

"Here, baby, help me with my hair please" Zeroni passes her hair curler to me. I wish to smack her head with it. Ugh. Audum's pathetic girlfriend! Really UGHH!!

I help her curl her long black hair while she does her makeup. She's literally a pro when it comes to dress-up's. Like she looks stunning everytime. She's definitely a diva who interests Audum and I am sick of it! Doomed me!

Out of the blue, our door is knocked upon.

"Let me see" I rush to our door and open it.

Oh God! I shouldn't have! There stands Audum Reed dressed in black and that too with a rose bouquet in his hands.

God! Can I please die? Zeroni's in there wearing black, Mr. Audum is out here wearing black and I, the pissed one, am the only one wearing a blue dress today. This literally makes me wanna puke right now!

"Can I walk through?" Audum asks with an unusual politeness.

I simply leave his way and sit on the sofa yet again.

He looks around the dorm and spits, "Where's Zeroni?" at me.

I am hardly bothered to give a reply so I point my thumb in the direction of bathroom.

Before he leaves for Zeroni, she pops up herself, "Noelle, who-" she's about to say but stops upon seeing her "beloved" boyfriend. Ugh God!

"Oh, hey there" Zeroni throws herself onto Audum and kisses his cheeks just like the british royals do. You know, side-to-side, cheek-to-cheek. Ugh. I can't help but roll my eyes while holding my head on my right hand which rests on the upper edge of the sofa.

"Here" Audum offers her the damned bouquet of red roses!

"Oh thankyou so much. Sweetie, I really didn't think you would find them around" Zeroni blabbers like the typical antagonists of princess tales.

"I didn't. Reece found them for you" Audum replies and my head rises promptly as I carry-on to listen to their conversation.

"Oh. Then I'll have to express my gratitude to him at the party" go's on Zeroni, the queen of blabbering. Her exaggerated talks make me sick at times!

"He's out there, on a call, catch him" Audum smiles at Zeroni.

I just curl myself like a cat and put my puffed up face onto my raised knees as Zeroni leaves the room to talk to Reece.

"Why do we have you laying pissed here?" throws Audum at me and I look up at him.

I continue to stare at him and he chuckles.

"What? Did anyone chase you around?" he continues. . .
