Chapter 2 let the games begin
''Welcome to the death games.'' said a loud voice with a voice changer.
Everyone panicked. I looked around and I couldn't see Martin anywhere. I tried yelling his name but my voice was quickly lost in the crowd
''Only nine people will survive; everyone else must die. If you wish to be one of those nine people, I suggest you better start killing. Low level weapons will be scattered around the place. Once you kill 25 people you can request a weapon of your choice. LET THE GAMES BEGIN.''
Violence was breaking out in the hallway. People were swinging for blood. I tried to hide
amid all the terror happening. I attempted to look for Martin but he seemed to be nowhere in sight
I tried to escape, I just had to get away. I am unarmed and in this world and it's kill or be killed, so running was my best option in this situation, it is until I can find a weapon to protect myself with.
In my 16 years of life I always kept to myself. I didn't really go out much, only when I needed to go school or shopping. The time i spent in my room was mostly spent on playing fps games
I always played as a sniper so if I had to choose a weapon of my choice, it would probably be a sniper rifle.
All I would need would be some ammunition, a sniper point and I'm set but I doubt I'm gonna find a sniper rifle lying in the middle of nowhere so for now I need to find a simple weapon that's easy to use like a handgun until I can get my kill score up.
I took a sharp turn into a nearby room and quickly locked the door. Hopefully this will buy me some time to search for a weapon. It isn't right but that's the order of things, I can't do much about it. I see a small desk with a few files tucked away.
I opened the drawer and found a mini handgun. It was a' springfield 911' to be exact there were no bullets in the clip but I took it with me anyways you can never be too sure.
