The Forty Fifth

"With that said I would like to name and welcome our two newest members of the clan. Jane and Juliet Nightmare, welcome to the clan and I look forward to seeing what you do in the near future." Jane had golden hair and Juliet had silver hair. Everyone started clapping as the two of them constantly said they were not worthy of such praise. Also the two of them tend to finish each other's sentences from the looks of it, however I think that may be on purpose since they can speak telepathically to each other.

"It may be sudden but I'm going to lay out the main task I chose and created you two for, I want you two to go under Phantom's tutelage and train under her each day to prepare yourselves for the outside world. I want you three to create a foothold in the world by expanding the clan and influence across it by whatever means necessary. If this means buying and training slaves or utilizing my skill to create undead and train them the decision will be up to you. I will help you as much as I can since you can come back at any time from wherever you are, money is of no object and we can provide you with necessary weapons. You three just need to become powerful enough to bear this responsibility." The twins were both visibly sweating from the task that I gave them and even Phantom was pale from what I said but still didn't voice any disagreement and just accepted it. My plan is to have them train for about a week in the dungeon with Phantom and then send them out. I already have a perfectly usable base in my storage that I obtained in a nice clean up of a little trash in my way. They just need to tidy it up a bit and it will be usable.

It looked like they decided that they would most likely buy and train slaves since they didn't want to rely on me too much, and they wanted to get the money they needed themselves from the dungeon since I was already providing them a base and access to this dimension at any time. However they did ask for me to create an undead that would allow them to travel around faster, I believe that they regretted this decision because I made an undead fire dragon. Of course this dragon wasn't strong enough to have a human form like Mary nor did it have a name so I decided to leave the name up to the three of them. Once everyone ate they headed off to their own rooms and we took a rest for the night. I woke up the next day with Nora sleeping while clinging to my arm, Divinus sleeping on my head, Al'Dae was on my opposite side, and Elaine was on top of me. What a way to wake up. Elaine was the next one to wake up and proceeded to wake up everyone else as if accepting that this was normal. I didn't even notice that they were there until I woke up, although I guess I am a heavy sleeper when I need some sleep. It's probably because I didn't sleep at all while I was training in the dungeon. After everyone woke up we headed to the bath to cleanse ourselves. Afterwards Elaine ran to prepare breakfast while getting dressed at unbelievable speeds into a maid outfit. I don't have a maid fetish I swear!

After we finished breakfast everyone headed to the colosseum so that I could announce the next match for the tournament. For the next match, while it may seem unfair at first when I announce it all I'm doing is making it even.

"The next match will be Elaine vs Mirror Lydia, Mirror Mary, and Mirror Dan. I have high expectations for this match!" Once I announced it Elaine seemed elated to finally fight freely. Precisely for that reason however is why she is fighting in a 1v3 match. She is the first subordinate I created and as much as others would argue she is also the strongest out of them as well. Now is the time to test and see if the mirror golems can properly work together and give Elaine a good fight, or at least that's what was supposed to happen. In the first few seconds of the match she butchered the golems to pieces faster than the eye can see, even to the point that I struggled to keep up. She already triggered their reconstruct skill and after the three of them came back they looked bewildered as to what just happened. What actually happened however was Elaine using one of her skills called [Shadow Decimation] that allows her to leap through the shadows of multiple targets and strike them all at the same time. It doesn't say what the limit is for how many targets she can hit at once but it didn't matter in this case. No matter how many times those mirror golems reconstructed themselves they couldn't prepare for an attack they couldn't even sense much less react to. She also had this skill at the max level but I think the main reason why she used it first was to show that she could take them all out at any time.

Damn I should have added in the mirror version of her into the fight but not even the mirror Elaine has that skill, nor can she keep up with the original in terms of speed. It must be a unique skill of some kind, I'll have to examine the true limits of this skill or ask her if she tested them herself. Even if she didn't have this skill though she has several others that could wipe the floor with these three. Damn I should have used appraisal on her before announcing the match. What kind of hell did she put herself through to obtain that skill? Let alone max it out completely. It makes me wonder if skills like this can even be mimicked in any form, I'll have to test that out as well. What Elaine did next though struck a nerve with the three golems. She told them that if they managed to land a single hit within the next 29 minutes they would win. I'm sure the golems thought that she was just belittling them but she was properly gauging their strength and deemed that this would make the match even I guess. After that the match ensued with Elaine just dodging whatever they could throw at her without even attacking back. I looked over at everyone else and even Al'Dae was sweating at the pure power Elaine was showing and Phantom looked like she was... I'd rather not say but I'm sure one can guess by the ecstatic face she was making.
