Hayla

Caleb and Robin were finally feeling alot better. But Ernon's wounds were still visible. "You should go to the nurse to get some bandages" said Caleb. He was starting to open up to his roommates a bit more. "Yeah, your right" said Ernon, strangely.

Robin looked at him quizzically. "Are you ok, Ernon?" he asked "If you want, I can come with you if you want" he offered. "No thanks, I'll be fine" Ernon said, trying to show gratitude. He was about to leave the room when Robin said something. "Don't forget to come back before 5:00pm, that's when our first session of training starts.

Ernon froze and bit his lip. "It's today?" he asked nervously. "Yeah" came the response. "Are you sure?" asked Ernon. He knew he couldn't turn up to the training with the wounds everywhere. "Yeah Ernon... are you sure your okay?" Caleb asked. He didn't get an answer. Ernon was already gone, running down the corridor.

Ernon didn't go to the nurse. In fact, he went as far away from it as possible. If anybody saw him in this state, they would ask too many questions. He went to the canteen to get something to eat and went to the back area.

Ernon saw a group of people crowding around. He immediately thought that a fight was going on, but he didn't understand why so many people were there, especially when bullying is common in this area. He decided to investigate.

He walked towards the crowd, more and more students joined the crowd, wondering what is going on. Ernon pushed through the candidates. He heard a shout from one of the candidates. "Who is she?" There was a commotion and a path opened up, revealing a blonde haired girl with blue eyes striding towards the back.

Unfortunately, she walked in the direction of Ernon. The girl expected the candidate to move, but Ernon was frozen to the spot. He felt like he had seen the girl somewhere before, but he didn't know where. They bumped into eachother and there was a gasp from the crowd.

"How dare you get in my way?" she shouted, recovering. "Uh sorry, I didn't mean to get-"

"Don't sorry me! Do you know who I am?!" she said in a stern voice. Now there were even more people joining the crowd. "I said I was sorry" said Ernon a little too loud. It was a big mistake. The girl's eyes blazed with anger. "I am Hayla, the grand daughter of Sir Blake Moore" she whispered. "You peasants wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him..."

Ernon was speechless. He didn't know what to say. He said he was sorry, and that should have been the end of it. But Ernon couldn't help himself. "You have some serious anger issues" Ernon taunted. That was his second mistake. Hayla slowly walked towards Ernon, head bowed. "What did you say?" he whispered.

Ernon felt the pain before he saw the hand made contact with the stomach. He collapsed, watching the world black out. Ernon cluched his stomach and clenched his teeth. He tried to get up, but Hayla's foot stamped into Ernon's stomach harder with each stomp. The rushless girl did this until Ernon was covering his stomach, screaming in pain.

Hayla kept stamping on his hand, drawing blood. No one was there to stop her. Soon, the stamping stopped. Ernon could hear whispers and candidates returning to their Dorms. Ernon could only lie there, wondering what just happened...
