9 FRIENDS

Roger wished to have friends but no one would be a friend with a guy with no ability. He had tried talking to people but they all kept running away. The only person he had talked to after his reincarnation was Emily and it had last for only a minute. She does look like a nice person and had no friends too because her ability power level was 3. The weakest in the entire school. "Why did I have to leave her on that day now I have to apologize tomorrow." The curfew will soon begin so I have to head back to school.

"Roger why are you late to class?" general Nathan asked.

Roger had just come back from the staff's room where he stole some coffee that he needed for his training today.

Emily was at the library reading a book called "Ability boosters" something she needed. Her ability was a transformation ability and she can only transform a part of a body at a time. Roger had also gone to the library as usual to read fantasy novels. After he finished a novel, he went back to the shelf to drop it and saw Emily.

"Hey Emily!" said Roger but Emily instantly ignored him.

"Am sorry for the other day I just felt uncomfortable cause I haven't talked to anyone in this school before," Roger said. Emily turned to face Roger before adjusting her blonde hair. Her eye of the color of grass, she walked to Roger wearing her orange pinafore uniform and her black shoe. She looked neat and organized but not compared to Roger.

"Ok but first, who were you talking to on that day?" Emily asked.

"Sorry I can't tell you but I hope it won't stop us from being friends," Roger said. Emily felt happy after hearing someone asking her to be his friend. And Emily immediately replied, "Ok maybe when you feel you can tell me, and yes we can be friends.".

"Thanks, I have to go now I will see you tomorrow.
