Reid had spent so many nights looking for her that he still couldn't believe she was really there. He smiled as he watched her sleep, so calm, as if time hadn't passed, as if she had never left. He had so longed for the simple routine of waking up before her to prepare a hot bath and her breakfast that he woke up happy to get her back.
Denisse woke up to the smell of toast and hugged him from behind.
- Good morning – Reid returned her hug – I didn't want to wake you up so soon. I'm sorry.
- It's okay, you didn't wake me up, I'm adjusting to your bed again.
- Our bed – he rectified.
- You shared it with someone else - she protested.
- It wasn´t important. I have already told you. I'm with you now.
- With her you altered your routine.
- You know I was just trying to distract myself from the fact that you weren't here – he pointed out - Don't you think it's too early to argue about this? It doesn't even matter.
- It does for me.
- Why?
