CHAPTER 11

There he is, the one and only Shivaay Nigam. But there's a surprise for us in the form of Zaara, his co-star, who is standing behind him. Wow, I feel as if I'm dreaming. I was blabbering about what I was going to do the instant I saw him before I came here, but now look at me, I'm just standing there like a statue. I was jolted back to reality by Shayirah's nudge. "What are you thinking? Why don't you speak up? "She cracked a grin. I wanted to introduce myself and tell him how much I admired him, but in surprise, nothing came out of my mouth.

"Um... er... I..." I stuttered over my words. Everyone was chuckling and staring at me. I was only staring at the ground due to my embarrassment."Hey, it's all right. Don't get too worked up over it. Take a big breath, "Zaara smiled.

Aww, that's very lovely of her. To acquire courage, I took a big breath and grinned at her.

"H...i..." I was stuttering. Oh, my goodness! I can't even form a coherent sentence. Shayirah reached out and placed her hand on my shoulder, reassuring me. Eventually, Kavilya introduced us to them. "It's good to meet you all," Shivaay remarked, proudly beaming. I can't seem to take my gaze away from him. In-person, he appears to be more attractive. His hazel brown eyes had a spellbinding effect on me.

Hey, Hold on! Someone comes to mind when I look into his eyes.

Oh, that's right. The masked man, of course.

Perhaps his eyes are similar to his, or perhaps I'm drawn to hazel brown eyes.

Geez, Whatever. Zaara sufficiently interacted with us, making us feel at ease.

Shivaay suddenly leans in closer to my ear. My ear was tickled by his warm breath, which sent thrills down my spine. "Hey, yesterday you said you wanted to hug me and tell me how much you like me, and so on, yet here you are not even saying hello to me properly," he said huskily, smirking. My thoughts were immediately halted by his comments as I was going to respond to him.

How did he find out about it? I hadn't met him the day before, so how did he know all I told the masked man?

Oh, hold on a second!

This implies that he is the masked man.

OH MY GOD!!!

"Masked man!" I exclaimed without realising it. Except for Shivaay, everyone in unions looked at me with interest and questioned, "Masked man?"

Oh, no!

I should have been more careful with my words, but I need to change the subject right now. "Masked man? No, uh... I was thinking about something and blurted it unconsciously "I explained, a little shyly. Shivaay chuckled as I glanced at him. "What happened, Shivaay? Why are you laughing all of a sudden?" Zaara inquired, puzzled. "Nothing, I'm just... Leave it, I'm simply thinking of a joke "Shivaay replied.

Zaara nodded, but she wasn't pleased with the response. "Come on, let's go to my make-up room. We can have a conversation inside "Shivaay suggested with a warm smile. As a sign of agreement, we all nod our heads. Everyone was trailing behind him, but I was limping behind them since I couldn't keep up with their pace.

Out of blue, someone grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the corner while I was pursuing them. I was about to scream for help when he put his palm over my mouth, preventing me from doing so. I was strangling and attempting to break free from his clutches, but I couldn't move even a fraction of an inch. He was extremely stronger than me.

"Hey, what are you thinking about yourself? Just because you saved her doesn't mean we'll leave you without a fight. Hahaha. You pricked the wrong nerve, girl, and I'll make sure you pay for it," He roared. His right cheek cut plus the manner he dressed up gave him the appearance of being a goon. He was on the verge of exploding. I tried to strike him in the face with my free hand, but he grabbed it and twisted it. I let out an agonising scream, but he grabbed my hands in one hand and covered my lips with the other before anyone could hear me. My eyes were welling up with tears, which were dripping down my cheek.

"Do not even attempt to do anything. You're going to fail every time, " While tightening his grip around my wrist, he smirked and added "You should feel the ache. We will track you down no matter where you go. Remember that." As he stepped over my injured leg. Even though I writhed in agony, he refused to let me go.

My friends' voice reached out to me like a knight in sparkling armour. They were shouting out my name, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get my voice through to them.

"Hey, I believe she wandered around the set for a while. It's fine; we'll just return to the make-up room, and she'll be back later. " This is what I overheard Kaviliya say to Shayirah. I realised they were returning to the make-up room to sit with Shivaay and Zaara after hearing their footstep become further away from me.

We could hear people's footsteps here and there, after they left because it was lunchtime. "Now I'm leaving you because if someone sees me here, I'll get in trouble. Don't get too excited because I'll be following you everywhere you go "He cautioned me while pulling his hands away from me and pushing me before fleeing the scene. I stumbled backwards before landing on the top of a massive stone. I was gasping for oxygen as I worked my way into a comfortable sitting position. I let out a sob unconsciously and instantly covered my mouth with my palm to ensure that no one could hear or see me. Since I was in such a terrible condition, I didn't want to face anyone in such a situation. I just stayed there for more than an hour, trying to calm myself down because the tears in my eyes refused to stop.

When I looked up a few hours later, the sky was blazing with the fire of the setting sun. When I realised that everyone was packing up and leaving, I decided to leave. I tried to stand, but it hurt too much to keep my weight on my injured leg, so I sat back down. After numerous efforts, I was able to stand and walk by placing my hand on the wall for support.

While I was limping, I noticed that all of the rooms were closed, and I assumed that all of the workers and actors had returned to their homes. I began to feel anxious at the prospect of being alone at this location without my friends. When the tears began to spring up in my eyes, I heard Shayirah's voice from the sole room that was open and the lights were turned on. So it's safe to assume she didn't leave. My face lit up with delight at the realisation. Thank God, I am not on my own.

Slowly approaching the room, I peered inside through the slightly ajar door. Shayirah was conversing with Shivaay, just as I predicted. I'm meeting my favourite actor again, but this time I'm in the worst possible condition. When I opened the door, both of their eyes widened and they grew concerned.

"Hey, where have you been? And, more importantly, what the hell happened to you? Why does your face appear tired and your hair is unkempt? "Shayirah inquired, worried. I attempted to enter the room without responding to any of her questions, but I slipped and nearly fell. Shivaay drew me into his grip before I could kiss the floor. He guides me to sit on the bed, but I sigh, lie down, and bury my face in the pillow.
