Dinner fell into an unpleasant silence for Serena. She kept wondering why she didn't feel something was in the wind when Sarah had sent her ubication.

At least for the other participants of the evening everything seemed to go smoothly, her friend and Kloe seem to have stretched bounds; she spoke to her laughing from time to time, ignoring the compromising situation she had put her in.

Maybe today's hard day at work has made her think of having a conversation with Elliot but she has never wanted it to be that soon.

She was definitely stepping into a danger zone for not only Elliott's reaction affected her but also the wish of Kloe to get back with her mother.

His persistent look was fixed on her and little did she know of what was going through his mind, she had tried to avoided it at all cost but unluckily that didn't take away the feeling of his stare and the growing anxiety in her, it almost seemed that at any moment he will go for her jugular.
