Chapter - 7

Tell me

Neal rubbed his cheeks with his palms. He is doing it since Hunter walked out of the room. Not only his face and ears are red as tomato but his whole body too. He felt so hot. A man kissed him. A man!

Neal doesn't know what to feel. No one ever kissed him like that other than Erika. Neal wouldn't say he is straight because gender didn't matter to him. This is his first experience with a guy. It would be lie if he said he didn't felt tingly inside.

Neal touched his lips thinking about Hunter's soft lips and sweet kiss he gave him. Although Neal feared the man, his presence and touch brought goosebumps all over his skin.

"This is what you need to do from now on. What did he meant by that? Should I kiss everyone in this house from now on? Isn't that sexual harassment?" Neal talked to himself.

He looked at his watch, 6.15 pm.

"What the hell?" He is sitting there for hours and no one came to check upon him. He is hungry. He is thirsty. He is hurt.

"Who cares, right?" His voice cracked. Neal's eyes blurred with unshed tears. He never cried this much.

Did Arjun realised what happened to him by now? Did Dylan tell him about me? Neal thought.

He abruptly wiped his eyes when someone knocked on the door. After three knocks the door opened and Kaiden walked inside. He carried a box of pepperoni pizza and a bottle of water. A salivating smell filled the room. Neal's stomach growled.

Kaiden stood in front of Neal with the ordered food in his hand. Neal was sitting on the floor leaning against the foot of the bed. He didn't stood up when he saw Kaiden. He was tired.

Neal licked his lips before biting on it and looking at the food then Kaiden and back to the pizza box.

What is he waiting for? To kiss him?

Neal thought.

Kaiden looked at Neal intently. His eyes roamed Neal's face.

"W-What are you looking at? I'm hungry. Give me the food. Or do you want to kiss me too?" Neal mumbled looking down. He felt uncomfortable under Kaiden's gaze.

Kaiden's eyes widened at Neal's words. He came to give the doctor some food. He was inspecting Neal's tear stained face and was going to ask if he had been crying again. But the words came out of the doctor's mouth surprised him. What did he meant by that?

"What?" Kaiden asked confused.

Neal stared at him for few seconds.

"No. Nothing." He muttered.

Kaiden's eyes narrowed.

"Hunter...... kissed you?" He asked. When the doctor's eyes go wide he understood what happened.

"Holy shit." Kaiden muttered under his breathe. He bit his lip trying not to smile.

"Is it for me?" Neal asked pointing at the food.

Kaiden looked at his hand and give the food to Neal. The doctor grabbed it and opened. He took a slice ready to fill his stomach. He is hungry, very hungry. He haven't had breakfast and didn't get lunch. So when he touched the food, he ate like a mad man.

"Slow down." Kaiden said patting Neal's head when he coughed.

"You can take a shower if you want." Kaiden said pointing at the corner of the room. Neal looked at where he is pointing with his stuffed cheeks. He didn't saw any doors but he saw a silver handle. When he narrowed his eyes and looked closely he saw a white door. The wall and door both painted white, so neatly that it looked like a wall. You wouldn't see if you don't look closely.

Neal looked up to Kaiden and nodded his head like a child. Kaiden thought he looked adorable with his stuffed cheeks and pouted lips.

"Are you alright?" Kaiden asked. Neal wanted to hit him. Kidnapping and locking him inside a room without giving anything to eat or drink, how dare he ask that to him?

But he didn't said anything, just nodded.

"Are you going to kill me?" He asked softly.

"Who said we are going to kill you?" Kaiden asked in amusement.

"Arjun sai–" Neal stopped suddenly. No. He don't want to drag his friend into this.

Kaiden raised his right brow. "You were saying?"

"Nothing." Neal said and filled his mouth again.

Kaiden put his hand in his jeans pocket and pull out a tube of ointment.

"Here. Rub this on your wrist. Hunter have strong hands." He gave the tube to Neal looking at his bruised wrist.

"I will be back in one hour." Kaiden said ruffling Neal's head and walked out closing the door behind him.

Neal looked at the door taking a bite from another slice.

Why are they being so nice? Neal thought to himself.

"Where is Hunter?" Kaiden asked as he walked to Drake's balcony. Drake was smoking, leaning against the steel railing.

"Office." Drake said.

"He kissed Neal." Kaiden said expecting a shocking reaction from Drake. But the man stood there smoking like he don't care about anything in the world.

"Already?"

Kaiden blinked. "What?"

"Why aren't you shocked? He never behaved like this. Keeping the guy here, and now kissing him? What is happening to Hunter? I have never seen him like this." Kaiden said as he recalled the picture of Hunter he had seen from childhood.

"I thought he liked girls." Kaiden said as he too leaned against the railing.

Drake looked at his friend. "Hunter never said he is straight. Hell, he didn't even dated before."

He said shaking his head.

Kaiden scoffed. "Look at you. You are the same."

Drake scowled at his friend. "We are all same Kaiden. It's not my fault you likes to fuck around."

"Well.. I need my fix okay?" Kaiden shrugged.

"What I didn't get is....why him? What's so special about him?"

Drake looked at Kaiden with raised brows. "You don't remember him?"

"Remember whom?" Kaiden asked.

"You are so dumb." Drake said without looking at Kaiden.

Kaiden looked at his friend with a scowl.

"What do you mean?," he narrowed his eyes. "Tell me the truth Drake, am I missing something here? Do you both know something that I don't?"

Drake breathed out a smoke and looked at his waiting friend.

"We have seen him before."

"Who? Neal?" Kaiden asked.

"Hmm."

"But where? I don't remember." Kaiden said and tried to remember where he had seen the doctor before.

"Do you remember the day Leo was born?" Drake asked.

Kaiden sighed and nodded his head, remembering the day he would never forget.
