Super Ordinary

From afar, V could see the Ark Orb glimmered and glowed, radiating the dark background of space. The huge sphere was made up of two transparent glass-like domes. In the middle was the docking ring which joined the two domes. It looked like an entire island inside a snow globe. The island was on top of the layer of docking ring. Beneath the docking ring, the bottom dome showed only water and something shadowy like an inverted mountain which was the bottom of the island. 


The whole thing resembled a massive glass ball with a ring of metal holding the middle together. Like one of those Christmas ornaments you hang on a tree. Through the transparent domes V saw Quark city. 


 Quark City was in the middle but the artificial clouds and mist clouded the view from space so V could not get a good look at her holiday work place. 


The Ark Orb
