‘V’ fidgeted nervously as Devon calmly fed the blue ringed octopus in the main aquarium. She was eerily composed, compared to an hour earlier when she literally seemed to want to strangle her.
“Did you know that an octopus can regenerate its arm as good as new if it was chopped off? Also that it can change the pigments of its skin to match its surrounding. A very amazing camouflage, almost like invisibility,”
“Well that’s interesting Ma will it be coming out in our test,” ‘V’ asked nervously.
“No, not really. Just thinking of old times. I used to work very close with these creatures. Even till today they cease to amaze me,”
“So, what is your point ma,” ‘V’ said shifting uncomfortably on his chair.
“I wonder, if your shape shifting ability works similarly. Maybe I would have to dissect you to find out,” she turned round with a manic look in her eye.
“Wait what! No!,” ‘V’ squealed.
With a shake, Mike now sat where ‘V’ once was.
