Alice

Fang Sanctuary

"What an awful pest."

"The human book"

"The ugly collector."

Everyone would immediately flocks in their circle every single time I arrive at school. They would instantly spew unnecessary comments. Laugh and even hinder me from going to my first class.

"Well, well, well. You got a new book?" Another group of bullies blocked my way. I was just looking at the floor, afraid to look at their eyes. I have always thought not to look at everyone's eye.

"Hmm. What you got here? Ow! A Romance book?" The lady said as she harshly pulled the book away from my hold. I swallowed hard as I got to see how did she flipped pages with care.

"Hey, Ms. Bookworm, care to explain what's in this book?" She added.

"I'll give this to you. And, you tell yourself what happened in there. Stop bugging me." I said with a cold tone as I passed through their groups. I heard her blew an air to her nose, as if she was annoyed.

"You gotta be kidding me. Are you fighting back right now, Fang woman!?" she replied with burning eyes. I gulped as I turned to her and saw how her eyes lit in anger. I instantly looked away when she stared back after surveying my whole look.

The voices the again hovered as they looked at me with indifference. Gossips were circulating over the campus that I am a 'fang woman' a vampire in other word. Most of the school's population addresses me as the 'vampire' in this campus.

"You're such a threat in this campus! Why won't you just disappear and flew back to where you came!? I hate seeing your face!" She uttered arrogantly. This scenario isn't new to me. But their arrogance always surprises me. Their guts always awe me. And, I hate it. How could this people think that they are superior and the people lower than their level are their subordinates or a mere slave?

"If I am a threat in this campus, then everyone of you should've backed out the moment you'd came up with stupids conclusions, right? If I am a threat, then you should've be frightened. How come I become a threat to this campus when I never did anything that might hurt someone?" I responded with a plain tone while looking at her forehead.

"That! That's the most scary action; nothing!" she said while pointing her index finger at me.

"Then, start getting afraid. My silence is deadly." I replied before walking away. Many students was on my side by side, lime they've created an aisles for me, for them to see me clearly and talk about me. How pathetic.

I went inside our loud classroom then it instantly turned mute as the moment they saw me entering. I could feel everyone's stare but I was used to it. I sat down to myy usual place, at the most corner at the back of everyone's chair. Everyone's eyes was still on me, but I couldn't tell them to stop staring. Maybe, at some point, I got blessed. Because for some reasons, no one did bully me here, nor would fight againts my bully. But, It's the good thing, I guess. To have a little peace at the most corner of this classroom.

I sighed and got a book out of my hand. I smiled as I smelled the fragrance of book as I slowly flipped the pages.

'Fangs' was the title of the book I've got with an anonymous author and has no year written when was it published. A little excitement builds up on myy system. The pages were seemingly old, or was just vintage.

Do not be thrilled. It has the most wildest beings. Do not unleash the demons. Do not open the book.

It was written at the first page of the book after it's cover page. At first sight, it seems like a warning with a red color fonts. I shivered at that thought, but I do not care. I am obsess with thrilling books, more like old fancy books. Where magics are said. Fairytales are clarified. And where immortal beings are alive.

"Never look at them in the eye. They are sucker of hypnotism. You might end up dying with a forceful will." I uttered as I was reading the most captivating part of the second page. I was then at chapter one.

I felt like I was thirsty for more about the content of this book! It was indeed beautiful!"She's scary" I heard someone whispered. Slowly, I lifted my gaze and look where the whisper was coming. I could feel my forehead slowly creased. The other woman hit her friend and shut her up.

"Shut up, will you? You're making us unsafe!"

I glanced at the woman, and at the moment she saw me looking at her, petrified look on her face sprouted. She nervously turned her back at me and made herself busy with trembling hands. I shook my head before giving my attention back to the book I was reading.

"When the moon's full, everyone goes out. Some would howl, some would hunt, some would play. When the moon's full, the demons are freed in their long sleep. When the moon's full and when human felt peace at home, dreaming... here comes these someone whose awake---with bloodshot eyes. Don't stay late at night in streets, you might end up being their prey." I've read the paragraph that was italyzed at chapter two.

"This is a cool book" I uttered underneath my breath. The whole class was busy minding their own business, so with me.

But, the moment I did averted my gaze, I saw Zarviel---silent and seems like out of her mind again. I looked at her keenly.

'Is she okay?' I uttered inside my head. Second passed, she felt my stare at her that why, probably she diverted her gaze at my direction.

"What?" She said with a smile in her lips. My brows knitted. Is she a bipolar or she doesn't have any friends, just like me. Either way, I don't care. I'm now thankful that she did stopped bugging me. An hour of her bugging me was entirely a tiresome.

I shook my head as a response to her before reading back. When I went to chapter three, my heart pounded hard as I saw something that shook my whole being!

'Welcoming the future Queen, Shivana Orasaya'

With the panic attacking me, with trembling hands I shut the book close. I swallowed hard as I was trying to calm down.

'What is that?!'
