The Sanctuary
I could feel my heart aching with the guy's words. I felt like my heart was like sinking in delightment, gratefulness, pain, and the overwhelming feelings. Even if I don't know what the guy really meant by his words, I felt the pangs and throbbings in my chest.
Years ago, though, I never acknowledge that I am some strange being based from everyone's words... I just found myself embracing who am I based from them. I started to doubt myself, I started to question who am I, I started to get afraid of people because even if I deny it, Myself would always know the answers. That, by the thought that I embraced who am I based from them, I started to think that they might hurt me the moment they'll know my strange capabilities. And also, afraid that I might hurt them when I'll get feed up with my rage.
And, with that, the guy faced me and hugged me. He then wiped the tears in my cheeks as his lips granted an assuring smile. Those smile were like sunshine in this dark surrounding, his arms were the haven in this unsafe and creepy place. And, his warmth was the things that made me stay still with my sanity slowly consumed by strange events. This strange guy made me feel okay despite my mind being in chaos.
"Who are you?" My mind uttered. He smiled again.
"No need to know my name. Just always remember, I am living to save you." He replied and with a sudden glare of light everything went back. I was still standing at the corridor with Valix infront of me. Staring intently at my eyes while holding both of my cheeks. I blinked uncountably before settling my gazes at his dark brooding orbs.
"What the hell are you doing?" I uttered, almost whispering yet he didn't move. He was just standing infront of me, with his all eyes boring into mine. "You're making a scene, Valix" I added when he did just stayed still. I was about to push him a little away from me when he instantly shook his head.
I looked at him questioningly, cofused with what he was acting.
"Let me stay still for a second." he responded ruskily. I was wearing a questioning look until he gave distance between us.
"Are you okay?" I asked as he looks like he was sick. His lips then turned pale as his eyes slowly closing. He smiled.
"I think, I'm not. Can you--- can you walk towards our classroom and inform our teachers that I can't go to class today? I think... I think i'm sick." He replied, it looks like he would faint any moment from now. I looked at him directly in the eyes, and he nodded with reassuring smile.
"Can you handle yourself towards your dorm's room?" I said, a little bit worried. He nodded and dissmissed me by waving his hands, motioning me to start walking away.
I was hesitant to leave him with that state. It looks like he would faint a second later, but he assured me that he would be okay with his smile. I took one step, advancing, then glanced at him... he then plastered a smile in his face once again.
"Continue walking, Alice. And, practice walking without looking back." He uttured seriously. I was just staring at him while he was telling me those words. He was looking right directly at my eyes, like he wanted to engrave his words at my mind.
"Go directly towards the clinic, Mr. Craige. Gey your medicine first before going to your dorm. Okay? I'll catch you on this one." I responded and smiled a little before I continued tracking my path.
I sighed heavily as I was infront of the classroom's door. I swallowed hard as I redied myself to face everyone, though never bothering for their existence was my specialty... these past few days felt like it was extracting me by just existing. It literally drain me at the end of the day. I sighed once again and took steps forward to get inside the classroom. Everyone was loud but, as usual the moment I showed myself they would all turn mute.
I felt my footsteps getting heavier as I could feel evryone's stare. Even though, I was head high, I felt like I wanted to just beg them to stop looking at me. I sat down, as I could still feel their gazes following my every move which made me anxious.
It been long years since I mastered being unbothered of everything and everyone, but why the heck this feeling started acting up again?!
I was there, sitting... a little bit stressed of what was happening to me. Those strange settings, peculiar beings, and creepy events. Am I just hallucinating, or am I delusional?
I massaged my temple as I becoming more sensitive or everything. I was numb. I was insensitive. I dont give a damn of everything, and of everyone... and this feeling right now made a red alert on my system! I am in danger!
I got the book that I was then reading. I findled thrugh pages and got to what page I was reading last night. I sighed and focused all of my attentions to it.
' I could hear screams from the next room of where I was staying. Those scream of pains. I diverted my gazes at the mirror infront of me. The all black satin dress up to my ankles. The black lines engraved outside of my eyes which made me look scarier as those black lines complimented to my dark brooding eyes. It made me look fiercier and dangerious.
I tried smiling infront of the mirror, copying what did that human girl did infront of her mirror. That human girl looked innocent, sweet, and nice unlike me. I instantly grimaced the moment I saw myself smiling. Disgusting!
I brushed my long black shiny hair as I was staring at the mirror with my emotionless face.
"I am Shivana Orasaya, a future queen. We never smile, instead we wear wicked and victorious grin. " I uttered to myself. I felt a little wave of pang inside my system, I stopped brushing my hair the moment I remembered why did I met that sweet human girl.
"Where are you going now, Caidan?" I said as I was tailing him. He looked at me, and
behind of his furry and beast form, I could clearly see his smirk which rendered me annoyed. I rolled my eyes at him and he howled. With the swift speed I possessed, I tailed him while he was running ahead with his beast form. He was howling excitedly, which made me curious of where would our destination be. Another glowing falls? Another thrilling race of our speed or another view we needed to be sighted? With that thought, I grinned.
It was a long journey from the woods until we finally heard some weird noises ahead. My sense of sight instantly saw where we were heading.
"What the hell are you doing, Caiden?! Our ancestors never let us cross that path!" I uttered in dazed of where we propably go. Into the humans world!
I stopped when he was then nowhere to be find.
"You stupid werewolf should be tame." I remarked, he was still not appearing on my sight but I know he was just around, hiding behind those big treeses.
"Hey, Ava? Can you give me my thing?" He shouted, and as expected he was behind those big trees. I rolled my eyes and snapped my finger into the wind. I whispered some words and smokes started to appear in the thin air.
"I told you, you should've brought a bag with you, moron." I replied as I throw his things to the portal towards where he was. I heard him scoffed, insulted to what I did said.
"No way! It's not cool, you know?" He replied as he showed up. I gulped when he showed his self topless while still bottoning his pants! His shirt was in his mouth as he was having a hard time with his pants botton.
"What the hell, Caiden!" I uttered, tensed with what I did just witnessed! Yet, he didn't move and just laughed. Damn this fur guy!
"So, what are we doing here? I know that you already know the rules, right?" I uttered without any emotions in my face. He nodded and grinned michiviously. I shook my head as I saw the determination in his eyes.
"What will gonna do on the other side, Caidan?" I asked. He grinned once more.
"You'll know." He replied and started crossing the another dimension. I was no choice but to follow him even though I was nervous. I am a princess, soon to be a queen, and I should not disobey the rules, yet here am I, starting to break it.
I followed him, and once we fully get out of our world, the burning sensation all around my body lit up. That made me stop. I swallowed hard as I saw the fiery human's light. Damn it! I forgot about their fiery light!
That burning sensatin made me kneel to the ground as I could feel my breath getting ragged. Fvck!
I was about to call Caidan when my eyes landed at him, staring---admiring a woman from afar.
The burning sensation intensified until I just felt my eyes slowly shuttting down as my vissions got blurry. But, before I could fell asleep, I felt arms embracing me. And, then everything shut down. Everything turned black.'
