Chapter 25

Fang Sanctuary

Days passed after that incident, Shivana suddenly went silent. I heard nothing from her, despite that she was at my body.

It seems like she's hiding from something, or thinking from something. I tried talking to her but she always gave me a no response. She overly went silent.

"Ma'am Alice!" Channel called me. We were at the headquarter right now. I looked towards where her voice coming from and saw her running towards me, with a very big grin that made me look at her confusingly. Her cheeks were red, even her eyes, and her eyes seems twinkling. What is happening to this lady?

"Hmm?" I uttered as I turned back to what I was looking. This headquarter seems suspicious to me... yet even if I look at its every corner, it would probably take me forever. This headquarter is a complete definition of a castle! I wonder, why does no one got interested with it.

"Ma'am Alice," she called out once again that made my brows knitted. I could even hear her giggles.

"What? You seems fluttered. And, will you stop calling me? Have you got the coffe? Give it to them, please." I stated directly, and didn't even waste a second. I settled my gaze at the thing I was looking.

"Eh? Ma'am!" She uttered again. I rose my head up once again and looked at him with creased brows, yet she wasn't even imitated.

"Stop calling me, and tell me what is it that you want to say. You're disturbing me." I responded. She frowned like a little kid which made my eyes rolled at her.

"Ma'am, someone is outside. Actually... there are two handsome men!" She said as she was trying to stifle her giggles. My brows knitted as my forehead creased.

"Tell them we are doing some expidition legally. Can you call Joana? Tell her to handle those people. Let her negotiate with them, I'm busy." I replied and glanced the door of thi room, before shaking my head.

"Noted Ma'am," she impled, then her presence left. I was eyeing keenly the thing that is infront of me. An hourglass.

"Ma'am?" Joana's voice hovered. I slowly looked at her.

"Channel said someone is outside. Can you do me a favor? Can you talk to them? I need to figure something with this thing. " I stated. She smiled and nodded.

"Jayson? Come here." I uttered.

"Yes?" I looked at him at the side of my eyes with a sharp gaze. This one is a rude one, while that Homer is the rudest. Tsk! I wonder, why does this two guys were always fighting when in fact, they have the same atittude problem.

"Can you see that?" I asked, and pointed what was inside the hourglass.

"Of course," he responded with an annoyed tone. Wow! What a rude brat.

"Tell me what you see." I asked. I looked at him excitedly. He looked at me boringly as he rolle his eyes at me.

"Bluntly, it's a sand. Stop bluffing me, I am doing something too." He responded, irritatedly and waked towards where he was. He already walked away the moment I got to react. For a span of long seconds, I was left hanging. I didn't even know what should I react. To get annoyed too, or to be disappointed. He can't see it?

"Yah! You rude brat! Do you want me to hit you? I am older than you!" I shouted at him yet he only put his headphones on, and continue what he was doing. " Wow! I did just met guys with worst attitude problem." I mumbled, feeling stressed out.

I was about to take a look closely when I heard Joana's voice hovered. I tightly closed my eyes. This is annoying! How could I focus if every single minute, someone would call my name. Damn it!

"Yes?," I interjected.

"Both of them said that it iis forbidden for us to enter. They said, that we should pack our things or they will forcefully throw us out." Joana responded. My brows knotted again. What an annoying day.

"Are they still outside?" I asked, she nodded. I nodded at her too. " Put this hourglass in the safest place. Take care of it, thoroughly." I added. She chuckled and nodded once again.

"Of course." She responded. I nodded at her once before marching away. We were at a room, and before we could get into the big wooden main door, you have to walk at the spacious hall. And, I always feel the same goosebumps everytime I enter and walk away. There was always this creepy feeling that I always feel.

I sighed heavily, as I was trying to keep the creeps inside me. I fisted my knuckles and walked in a fast pace. And, the moment I have reached the main door, I hurriedly opened the door. I closed and covered my eyes with my arm from the direct sunlight. I waited for my eyes to finally adjust with the light, because indeed, even if that room was filled with lights, I could still see it a gloomy and dark.

Once my eyes finally adjusted, I slowly put my arms down and opened my eyes. But, all I could feel that everything, including myself froze. I could only heard my wildly beating heart as my gaze settled at the two men who was standing near at their cars. I swallowed the lump at my throat as my hands were standing to tremble. I guess, they wasn't expecting my presence here, that they also froze in surprise.

I tried averting my gaze away, yet it only landed to his eyes. To those mezmerising orbs.

"Valix..." I uttered without any voice.

'Nicolas' Shivana suddenly invaded my thoughts. I grasp. Goosebumps got more intense as I heard her uttered those name. I know, both of us were seeing the same man. Both of us were staring at the same eyes. That man.

"Don't interrupt. I'll be the one to take care of it." I mumbled, with a small voice, yet she didn't respond.

"A-Alice," I heard both of them uttered in unison. I coughed, trying to take off the lump at my throat.

"Caifer..." I uttered and walked down at the small stairs. I saw how both of their lips agape. I plastered a small smile while looking at Caifer. He indeed become more handsome. The moment I was done with the stair, that was when I looked at him. Ready to be drown by his gaze. " Valix..." I said with a voice lacing with mixed emotions. The small smile fell off from my face, as tears starts to moist my eyes.

' I missed you ' I uttered at the back of my mind. I fisted my knuckles , trying to stop myself from running towards him and hug him.

But...

I froze the moment I heard them uttered her name.

"Sh-Shivana." And, it broke my heart the moment he uttered her name.
