Fang Sanctuary
Both of them look at me with such emotions lingering at their eyes. I smiled.
"Both of those princes withered. No one knows where they went after that bloody and terrifying night. Isn't a beautiful unrequited love with another unrequited love?" I asked.
"What do you know?" Valix aggresively asked. I arched my brow at him.
"Everything. " I responded as I look at him with no humor at my face. His face turned grim as his jaw clenched.
"The Queen is Shivana, the one that is living at my body. She was also the one who choke Zarviel. She was also the one who chooses this site. This parasite was the Queen whom hot stab twice, by someone she love and by the man who adore and loved her too much. It was indeed tragic. She fell for someone who can't love her, and the other who loved her took her life with his own hand. Both of those princes were merciless, right?" I implied. I glanced at them and saw how their eyes darken. A little smile crept into my lips.
"You only know the surface, Alice. The very small surface was the only truth you have witness. You didn't even know what happened before that." Caifer stated with a tone almost indenting his every words.
"Why? If the surface I have seen is too terrible to witness, how much more its depth?" I responded. His eyes turned fiery.
"Alice, why are you being like this?" He implied. My lips pursed and diverted my gaze away.
I asked myself too. Why am I being like this? Does Shivana's feeling was affecting me that time? Why does I feel so enraged? I am not her.
I blinked multiple times and then looked at them.
"I don't know either," I replied and shrugged my shoulders. Both of them eyed me confusingly, wondering.
"What are you doing here, then?" Valix asked with a cold tone. I looked at him, and unfortunately... met his cold gazes. There wasn't trace of warm and twinkling eyes from his past.
"I told you, she brought me here." I responded. His jaw clenched until his gazes went sharp. I looked at him intensely without any hint of emotions at my face.
"Until when you'll gonna pretend that you are not her, Alice?" He stated with a cold and angry tone. My brows knitted.
"I am not pretending!" I aggresively responded. "She... she is living with me. She's the one who choke Zarviel. She's the one who brought me here! She is real!" I added. Valix shook his head and looked at me with such emotions I couldn't name.
"You are her, Alice. You are her. You are just afraid to admit it because everything had changed. Your great enemy becomes your friend. The man that you love is now the man that you only admire. And, the man that only admires you, you are now loving him back. The situation changed, and you wasn't expecting of it." He said. I looked away again as I turned my lips into a straight line.
"Shivana..." Caifer called out, and for the first time, I flinched upon hearing her name. I gritted my teeth as I was consealing everything.
"I told you, I am Alice." I replied in a cold tone again.
"Shivana---" he called out again. I stood up aggresively and looked at his eyes directly, with fury and total hatred.
"I am not her. I am Alice!" I screamed.
"But those fury and hatred in your eyes can tell me that she is you. Why are you hiding in her personality, Shivana? You are not the evil." Caifer gently said, almost whispering. Even years had passed, he still have this soothing tone.
"I am. I killed everyone. That book, it was similar to what had happened. She killed everyone as she rose up from her grave. She brought vengeance in between the big striking lightnings and heavy pouring of rain. She killed everyone while she was in vail."
"But that does not make you any evil!" He screamed too, frustrated and angry.
"What do you mean? Are you guilty that you badly wanted to justify her bad deeds by saying that it's okay, huh?! Are you damn crazy?!
"Shivana, stop screaming please." He uttered as he lowered his voice, sounded like he was pleasing.
"You are a damn bastard, Caiden or Caifer or whatever! You're a damn bastard in your every name!" I mumbled under a gritting teeth. That made him shut and looked away.
"Shivana, please sit down." Valix interjected. I scoffed. He was still sitting, still properly composed, like he wasn't even bothered.
'He did become an a$$hole over the time.'
"We need to talk about it calmy so that you'll be able to absorb everything." He added.
"What are we gonna talk about? How shitty you were back then? Both of you? This is fucking stupid!" I angrily stated and even slammed my hands against the table.
"Sh-Shivana... y-youre causing a distortion of this world's time." I heard Caifer said, stuttering with his words. I looked at him at the side of my eyes and saw him looking at his watch.
"What are you doing" I mumbled. He looked at me with a horror written in his face.
"This world's time had stopped." He stated.
"Do you want me to kill you at this lifetime?" I asked, irritated.
"No. No. I am not bluffing you. Look!" He said, in panic, as he showed me his watch.
"You probably ran out of battery." I replied. He shook his head too. I was about to tell him something when someone grabbed me at dragged me out.
"What the fuck, Valix!" I mumbled, as I was trying to get out from his hold, yet his grip tigthens everytime I'd flinch.
The moment he opened the door, the first thing that welcomed me was the birds, staying still in the air. Not moving, not even a single inch.
I diverted my gaze and saw my team froze with their positions. Not even their eyes would blink.
"What the heck?" I uttered.
"Our emotion's affect their time. That's why, it is always called the other side. That boundery was meant not to cross, but many beings from our side, including us, disobeyed the rule. Yes, there was no effect for our side, but the handrums kept on getting the consequences of everything we've done. Their time stops, their time goes too slow, their time goes running fast because of our emotions. This world was only build for them. Our intense emotion will continue to distort their lives, if we keep on living here. This side... is not for us." Valix stated.
"But, it'll be back to normal, right?" I implied.
"Many beings are coming with the aim of looking for someone, and both of them are using this world's energy."
"And?"
"They are looking for you." He coldly uttered that made me shiver.
"W-why?" I hardly asked.
"It's time to comeback at your kingdom, My Queen."
