Gossip

So you see, I knew a lot. I'm not sure why Susan would be feeling threatened by us. I mean, she's very beautiful, and I hate the fact that she doesn't want to be my friend. Well, I can't force her. I just hope we get along, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Violet made a group chat between the four of us; her brother called it Gossip twins. We were all twins in the group, so I wasn't bothered about it, but I didn't get enough sleep because of chatting, and I was so invested in the things they were sharing with me.

We went in for our first class, which was with Mrs. Smith, you know the woman from yesterday's class. I wonder why a female would want to teach math. Gosh, I hate that subject. It was "compulsory but not necessary."

That was what Lia had said about Math. Thank goodness my sister did my assignment for me. You see, I am not so good at math, but my sister, she's so good at a lot of courses, Mr. Rogers was even letting us take higher courses.

I guess we were smart like our mother, if only he had let her continue with her studies, but we tried to teach her the little we had learned, but mom was never into learning; she just wanted to escape. Just like I always say, Addy is a genius. Well, she is to me, but Mr. Rogers would always say she was dumb and useless. It's not like he has ever praised us for anything, and neither was he smart, but when it came to business, he was good at it; maybe he was smart in his own way.

Mrs. Smith made Math look like the simplest subject in school, she explained every step to our understanding, but I swear, it was still confusing. I mean, I hate this subject, and I think most of the students would agree with me. We kept groaning, some were yawning, but my sister and Violet were so focused on what she said.

I guess Dani and I are the dumb ones then. After class, we were given another assignment, like what the hell? I am starting to hate this woman. Is she punishing us or something? I grumbled while walking out. Dani held my shoulder, "Dude, that's how she is, but I swear she's the fun one in this school," she said, smirking.

What did she even mean by that? Oh my gosh. Oh her and whispered, "You've slept with her?'' she nodded.

"I hope you'll keep it a secret," I nod. We continued walking since the three of us had the second class together. Violet had already left us. I want to know what happened. I mean, how did she do it, sleeping with your teacher? Is that even right? The lady is way older.

Well, who am I to judge you like who you want? I guess she's into older women, but why does she sleep with girls in school? I need to confront her about this. I sat with her while we waited for the teacher to come in.

"So, how did it happen?" I asked.

"I'll tell you, just promise me you won't tell this to Violet," she said, looking me in the eye.

"Sure, I promise, but I can tell my sister, right?"

"No, not even your sister."

"This is my first time keeping secrets from her."

"I'm sure she'll be okay with it."

"Alright, I won't tell her."

"Okay, where should I start? It happened two months ago."

"Wow, it is still new."

"Do you want to hear about it or not?" Dani said.

"Sorry, continue."

"You see, I met Julia at a nightclub."

"Julia?" I was confused. She rolled her eyes.

"Mrs. Smith, you dumbass, and stop interrupting me."

"Okay, sorry."

"I met her at this gay nightclub. I was drunk. I mean, we were very drunk. I think I kissed her first; I don't remember, all I know was that I woke up the next day with my teacher on the bed, and let me tell you, Maddy, it was the best sex I've ever had."

"How would you remember if you were drunk?"

"Well, you see, I have this brain that makes me remember what happened to me even if it was thirteen years ago, you told me something I would remember, and I'll tell you what you say from the start to the end."

"Wow, that's so cool. You could use this to store some Math formulas."

"Wow, why didn't I think of that. You're a genius, Maddy," she said, hugging me.

"Alright, so we screamed at each other. She got so scared and kept screaming, "I slept with a minor, oh goodness, my job, my life is destroyed." I held her, trying to calm her down.

When she was calm, I told her first I am not a minor, I am eighteen years old, and I was celebrating my birthday, and I promise I'll never tell this to anyone.

You swear with your life, I nod. After that day, I kept meeting her at the gay bar. I talked to her, I asked her why she was there, she said she was exploring her sexuality."

"Wow, I thought she's a married woman?" I asked.

"Yep, you see, Julia had an arranged marriage with her husband, or was it a contract marriage? I don't remember. All I know is that her parents didn't want her to be with a female, so she had no choice but to do what they asked her to do. She was controlled by them, but her parents are dead now, and she caught her husband sleeping with her sister.

You know she said she was not angry, she was happy. I mean, it was a good way to divorce him. So her friends told her about the club, so she went to check it out. So me being me, I asked her out, she straight up rejected me, I got confused, you see, we've been flirting with each other ever since we started going to that club, so I thought she was, you know, 'interested' in me. I guess I was wrong.

So I stopped calling and texting her, I focused on my part-time job, I rejected her calls and blocked her number. Few days to resumption, I bumped into her at the gay bar, I tried avoiding her, but she wouldn't have it. She grabbed my hand and took me inside her car. I tried telling her to let me go, but you know what she did?"

"What?" I asked, getting agitated to know what happened before she could answer; Mr. Ford came in, "morning class, sorry I am late."
