Against the storm

I woke up feeling weaker than yesterday, my bones feel sore, I don't even think I can walk. 


I managed to get out of bed, unbothered about how messy my hair was and that I was still in my pj's I went downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast, 


When I got to the kitchen I saw Prince Rodriguez at the dining table. He was wearing a red t-shirt and blue denim jeans. He looked even more handsome without his suit. 


He probably wasn't going to work today. I thought as I walked past him to where Mary was, pretending not to notice him he also didn't seem to notice my presence. 


"Morning, Mary, can I have my breakfast?"I asked Mary, who was busy staring at me. 


"Okay, Cass," Mary replied and placed a tray containing bagel and cheese in my hand. 


"Thanks," I said and started walking back to my room, I suddenly felt light-headed, I felt like everything around me was spinning and then I dropped the tray spilling food everywhere.
