"Because she is carrying my child," I said and Emelia's jaw dropped in shock. 


"Cass is carrying my child," I repeated. 


"I thought you said she lost the pregnancy." 


"Oh my God." She raked a hand through her hair and stared at me. 


"W-why did you lie? Why did you say she lost the pregnancy? I don't get it. I called Sam and he also told me she lost the pregnancy because of the accident." Emelia said. 


"I don't want to talk about it, Emelia. I need to find Cass." I was about to leave the room when Emelia walked closer to me and held the collar of my shirt. 


"Tell me why you lied to me Rodriguez, or you are not going anywhere." 


"I am not letting you go until you tell me everything," Emelia said and I let out a frustrated groan.
