XXVI: Bait Part II

Beautiful women surrounded Bao Hu. They were all scantily clad in vaporous, nearly see-through dresses. Their hair was green and made of weeds, and their eyes were pure gold with black irises. My hand instinctively went to cover Zhihao's eyes, knowing that he would have problems dealing with these women.

I knew this because even I was having a hard time not staring.

“B-” I was about to open my mouth to call my servant when Selene’s voice came over me. ‘Wait!’

‘What?’

‘Let me speak. You’ll scare them.’ I frowned. Of course, I would scare them. They were tormenting my guard, who appeared to be fighting to not open his eyes while muttering to himself. But then again, he didn’t seem to be in any danger, so maybe I should do as Selene asked since she appeared to have a plan. Instead of answering, I eased the control I had over my body and Selene flowed.

“Ladies,” I found myself saying, and many of the women turned to me with frowns.

“What do you want?”
