XXXI: Hope, is there any? I Part I

“Ok, so we have a plan, but how will I prevent Huo Long from detecting Yin? Should I hide him under my neck again?” I asked the obvious question.

“I don’t believe that will work, no.” Di Qiu Long shook its massive head in the negative “Long ago, way before Marduk disappeared, I remember Feng saying that Huo had an ability none of us shared, and that is tied to him having a greater portion of the Master’s spirit: he can sense the rest of us. That is the reason the Master sent him after Marduk. Not even the best disguise will mask the presence of a dragon. That you and Yin are so close is already a risk. We would need to find another way to mask his presence. Hmmm.”

‘Hmmm.’ Selene began imitating the dragon, and I could feel her furiously thinking over everything she knew about disguises and whatnot in search of something that would help us. I sensed her going back to the very beginning of our story, but something told me that this approach was not what we needed.
