Auriel closed her eyes while pressed her forehead against the car door glass and sighed tiredly, inviting Axel's gaze which was focused on the road in front of him to look at her with narrowed eyes.

She was given permission to work for Adrian and this morning she was driven by Axel, Castiel refused to let her drive the car alone — besides, she also had a curfew where she had to return home at seven and a maximum of eight. If she was late, of course there would be punishment for her.

Because she didn't know what kind of punishment would await her if she came home late, it scared her and didn't want to be late, but on the other hand she was also very curious about the punishment that would await her if she didn't comply.

“You know where Castiel is?” she asked Axel in calm tone

“Mr. Berkshire will be in the office because there are three meetings waiting for him and he will only be out of the office when he is going to have dinner with a client," he explained carefully.

Unknowingly Axel laughed softly and glanced at her noisily "Don't worry, Miss Ariel" he tried to calm her down "Mr. Berksire will not cheat be behind your back, he is very loyal — so please have faith to him”

"Looks like he'll be home late — but if you want Mr. Berkshire comes back sooner, you can call and ask him to come home quickly” he said “and he will come home as quickly as you wish”

It made her froze with a heated face — she was very embarrassed and chose not to continue her conversation with Axel. Her heart was weak and she couldn't hear anything sweet about Castiel one more time or she would faint.

A minute later, her Audi entered the office area and stopped in front of the lobby. Before getting off, Auriel tidied up her appearance and carried her hand bag in her arms then got out of the car after Axel opened the door for her.

“Thank you, Axel” she stated

Axel responded with a small smile and bow to her slightly

Auriel entered the office building, the sound of her high heels echoing in the lobby — until she finally saw Adrian staring at her with narrowed eyes, she approached him with a smile but Adrian didn’t smiled back to her

"I want to hear your explanation" he stated coldly when she finally stood in front of him "Who did you go home with last night and why did I see Castiel's car and driver at your house?"

It made him gulp nervously and put on a stiff smile

"I-I can explain" she replied nervously "but not here"

"Come to my room after you put your things away" he said and after that he turned towards the elevator without waiting for her — he left her in the lobby alone

faintly, she heard whispers from other employees. It was this early and there was already drama being created at the office because of Adrian, it made her tired and wanted to go back home —back to her Castiel.
