Chapter 2: Here is your class...

"Hey! My name is Alan! What's your name?!" A very cheerful voice in front of me breaks my daydream.

"Rey, that's my name," I answer it with an irritated tone.

"Hello, Rey! My onyx is "Werewolf" I can turn myself into a werewolf and I can sense like a wolf. Well, you can say I can do what wolves do. Then, what is your Onyx, Rey?"

"None of your business. Please let me alone." I am seriously irritated by it. My voice might sounds unfriendly but it has to be done

"Well, alright then. Nice to meet you, Rey!" Alan says it with joy. Maybe he's always like that to other

Not for long, the door open and the last student from my class appear. I recognize her, a short brown-haired girl with emerald eyes. The class change from the crowd to silent. Every boys' eyes are locked on to her beauty. Those faces might be the face I made when I saw her this morning.

"What an angel!" Alan says it out loud and because of that, he breaks the ice, and the whole class stares at him.

She walks in my direction, should I say hi to her? What should I say? She pulls the chair right next to my seat. I forgot that the only empty seat is beside me.

Suddenly a woman appears behind her, I believe it's our home teacher. Her posture is not really tall but I can say she's attractive in most men's eyes.

"Hello everyone! My name is Hanna Brescia. Please sit down on your own seat. Welcome to Invictoria High, for today's agenda, we only do an introduction for each student. Please tell us your name, your onyx, and your latest rank." She said it with a really soft voice.

Most of us have a rank test when we apply to this school, since testing your rank is expensive, and only free if you attend some events, I only have done this three times. Three of them were from before I went to elementary, junior high school, and high school.

There is some cluster level to get to know your rank. Level 0 or you can say powerless is the lowest rank you can get, whoever gets this rank doesn't possess the power of Onyx, you might not survive the real world if you have this rank, but it's extremely rare to get this rank, and Ken is one of them.

Level 1-2,99 is Low-Rank, if you get this rank, you are not better than trash in front of most people's eyes. You surely have a hard life from getting this rank, most of them who are stuck at this rank never work in an office, or maybe just become an office boy.

Level 3-5,99 is Mid-Rank. We can say whoever gets this rank is just a usual citizen but better than Low-Rank. This rank is the majority of the society, so your life will not as bad as Low-Rank's life

Level 6-8,99 is High-Rank. Only a few people can reach this rank. Most people who reach this level are because of their elite family clan, it's because most of Onyx is inherited by their children.

Level 9+ is Special-Rank. There are only 7 people in this country who reach this rank. They are the most powerful people in this world and have every privilege in their life.

This level is based on your Onyx proficiency and your physical ability. This means you can level up just from physical training if your Onyx is not that strong. But you need extra effort to reach High-Rank if your base Onyx level is not Mid-Rank.

"Let's start with you, sir." Ms. Bresia starts from the front left row.

"My name is Hiro Takada, my Onyx is Laser-Eyes. I am at level 3,7." He said it with pride.

I don't know what he is proud of, his Onyx is not that special if you think of it, you can counter it easily.

"Thank you, Hiro, Nice to meet you! Next please."

"My name is Eva Whitlock, my Onyx is Fear. I am at level 5,3. Nice to meet you, everyone!" Energetic, that's how I describe her. Quiet attractive and I can say she's strong.

"Thank you, Eva, nice to meet you! Next one please."

Introduction continues but is not really interesting since most of them are on levels 3-4. But none of them at Low-Rank. We haven't seen anyone within High-Rank, that's how rare they are, you need at least have level 4,5 Onyx to get High-Rank level.

"Thank you, Joe. Next one please!"

Alan, the one that sits in front of me stands up. I think it's his turn and next is mine, I don't even realize because I was too busy in my world.

"My name is Alan. My Onyx is Werewolf. I am at level 6,4. Nice to meet you, Everybody!."

"WHAT!!!"

A whole class was surprised with the first High-Rank in the class. I am also surprised by him.

I look at his hand, since he stands up I can somewhat see his skin behind his sleeve, it's all scars, old scars.

"Sorry Alan, what clan are you from?" A question from one of a student. Looks like most of us are also curious about that answer.

"Uhh… My clan is Sirius, Clan of The Beast." Alan answers it without pride, this is kinda strange because I thought he is a cheerful person.

"What?? But that clan is so strict! How can you be able to study here? There is no way!" Hiro responds with a doubtful emotion, he doesn't believe that Alan was From Sirius Clan.

"Please stay calm everyone! We still haven't finished the introduction for everyone." Ms. Bresia tried to calm the class.

He seems like he has a problem with his clan. I shouldn't bother him with it now since I also pushed him away before.

"Thank you, Alan, Next please!"

It's my turn for an introduction. I actually have a bad feeling about this, public speaking is not my specialty at all.

"My name is Rey, My Onyx is Physical Enhancement, I am at level 2,2," I said with a flat emotion as usual.

"Meh, next, please! Why do we have a Low-Rank here? Get lost!" someone said that loudly

"Yeah! Get lost you weak!"

"How did you end up here? You piece of trash"

The follow-up from the class is only insulting and laugh, I don't blame them since before I am Alan who is one of the High-Rank. But it disgusts me.

"Hey… Can you all shut your mouth? Walkthrough me before you want to deal with him." Alan's aura spoils out and shuts the whole class.

I can sense his power so powerful, I can't even move, neither the whole class. It feels like he will destroy this class by any second now. I can't believe he will stand out for someone he talked to 20 minutes ago.

"O… Okay, Alan. Please calm down, you make the whole class scared." Ms. Bresia tried to calm Alan.

His Aura stop for spoiling out. Looks like Ms. Bresia's success to stop him. Alan sits down again to his seat with an angry face. I tried to talk to him but I think it's no time for that, I will talk to him later.

"Next one please."

The sound of a moving chair beside me takes every eye in this class. She stands up slowly with both hands beside her hips.

"My name is Alea Theodones, My Onyx is Reality Warp. I am at level 6,7. Nice to meet you." A beautiful voice comes out from that smiling lips.

Everyone frees like before, even Ms. Bresia is speechless but he manages to get away from it quickly.

"Well, another High-Rank. Looks like this generation is stronger than I thought. Nice to meet you too Alea…"

The introduction session continues but nothing really interests me again.

It already breaks time. I heard that the cafeteria is not really conducive because of the crowd, luckily I bring my own lunch. As I predict, Alea's seat is surrounded by the boys.

"Alea, Where do you live?"

"Can I have your number?"

"How can you reach High-Rank, Alea?"

That's the short version of what they ask her, but she doesn't even bother and still sits on her chair reading his book. Since my seat and she are close, it's kinda bothering me. I decide to find another place in this school, a school garden? I bet that place is also crowded, toilet? Nah, I could lose my appetite.

I walk along to every corner of the school, maybe I could say this is a school tour. I finally reach the backside of the school

"This might be the perfect place," I said to myself.

I walk through the corner and surprisingly Alea already take my spot. She also brings her lunch. But she is here, so who was in the class?
