Chapter thirteen: I'll always be there for you.

Henry entered his car after making sure that Lari was comfortable. He drives the car to his house. When he got there he carried her to his room and lay her down on the bed and went to the kitchen to get her a glass of water, he gives her the glass and she gulps it in one go.

This is the first time for Lari to experience such so she's very traumatize and can't control the tears that keeps falling down her eyes. She ask herself *What if Henry and the others didn't come to check up on her, what could have happen to her?* this question has been ringing in her head since when Henry carried her.

Noticing that her dress is torn, he went to his wardrobe take a shirt and wear it on her. He lie down next to her and hug her whispering sweet nothings in her ears to comfort her.

Finally able to put her to sleep, Henry walks to his bathroom to take bath so as to calm himself. His blaming his self for what happen, *I should have followed her, why did I let her go on her own?* * what if I didn't get there on time?* he ask himself *This is all my fault am to be blame for this* he

said punching the wall *Mr policappio you are going to regret this. No one touches what is mine and go unpunished* Finished with his bath, he dress up and climbs on the bed. he hug Lari like she was going to disappear from his side before drifting off to sleep.

Lari in the middle of the night scream and cried in her sleep saying "no please don't hurt me, please don't do this am begging you please don't" She wakes up with a little jump which wake Henry from his sleep. Panting heavily and crying again "Hen he..he 'sob' " she finds it difficult to explain how that man touched her. "shhhh don't worry he isn't here, am here for you and no one is going to hurt you again I promise" Henry said comforting her

"what if you weren't there? What would have happen? what if he had his way with me"

"No one will ever hurt again, I'll always be there" Henry said this with sincerity. He vow to himself that he will always be there for her.

But the question here is, will he? or will there be a time when he isn't fit or present to save her from danger?

Lari went back to sleep but Henry couldn't. Sleep was far away from him now. The anger burning in him cannot be put off until he destroy Mr Policappio. So picking up his phone he called his friend Josh. "hello Henry why are you calling me plus in the middle of the night" Josh ask in a sleepy tone

"I have a job for you" Henry said going straight to the point.

"What do you want" Josh asked. All trace of sleepiness from his eyes are gone and his fully awake.

" I want you to destroy someone"

"Give me a name and I'll get it done"

"Iris Policappio. don't hurt him but destroy all his source of income. Make him penniless"

"Okay, expect a fit back next week"

"good bye"

"bye"

After hanging up he go back to lay down next Lari. Sleep finally came and overpower him.

When Lari woke up from sleep the sun was already up in the sky. She got down from the bed and left the room. She is feeling better today and not as scared as yesterday. She walk into the living room looking for Henry and at the same time taking in the details of the house.

The living room is very big, three times bigger than hers. Looking around she notice that there are pictures of him everywhere, there are five sofas, a big glass table. Next she move to the dinning area were there is a big table with eight chairs. Three on each side, one at the top and another at the bottom. Moving to the kitchen were she found Henry cooking something. The house is painted white.

"Hey your up. How are you feeling" he asked cleaning his hands the he walk up to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek before returning to what he was doing.

"Am fine thank u" Kari replied.

"Hope your hungry? breakfast will be ready in a sec". They acted like nothing happen yesterday. For Henry because he doesn't want her to remember what happen and he doesn't want her to feel scared and looking petrified. The sight of her yesterday was heartbreaking.

For Lari she just want to forget about yesterday and move on. She doesn't want the people around her to worry. Nodding her head she sat on a stool in the kitchen waiting for chef Henry...........
