PART 11 ~ STINGY HUMAN

Sammy immediately turned to Briel's side.

"Ehem! Where are you going, Miss?" Sammy asked suddenly, making Briel turn her head. Briel saw Sammy.

"Huh? Sorry?" Briel frowned. She didn't hear what Sammy was saying because she was busy talking to someone on the phone. It was Jenny, Briel's little friend.

"Are you going, Miss?" asked Sammy.

"Yes, is there a problem?" asked Briel.

"Nothing, Miss. But have you told Mr. Erland this?" asked Sammy.

Again Briel frowned. She didn't understand what Sammy was saying. She's going out, so what's that got to do with Erland? Why did she have to tell Erland? Briel felt it was not important to do.

"Why should I do it? Besides, he's not here," said Briel.

"But, Miss. You'd better tell Mr. Erland this," said Sammy.

Briel sighed. She looked at Sammy disapprovingly.

"Sorry, what do you mean? Why do you seem to mind seeing me leaving? Did someone ask you to keep an eye on me? It couldn't be that monster human, could it?" asked Briel.

"No, not like that, Miss. But it will be good for you, for Mr. Erland, and your relationship," said Sammy.

Briel chuckled. What the hell Sammy? Briel doesn't know what Sammy said. Briel didn't understand. Sammy even brought up her relationship with Erland. Really, who is Sammy? He knows a lot, thought Briel.

"Don't order me! Just do your job!" said Briel with a smile, but in her tone, there was an affirmation.

Briel opened her car door and quickly got into the car.

Briel closed the car door quite hard. It didn't take long for her to immediately drive her car out of Erland's residence area. Meanwhile, Sammy just kept silent, watching Briel leave. He grew suspicious of Briel, Sammy thought Briel was hiding something. Because, if Briel hadn't been hiding something, she wouldn't have been mad at him just because he suggested that Briel tell Erland about her departure.

*** In The trip.

Briel grumbled. As long as she lived, no one had ever dared to control her other than her parents. She couldn't stop thinking about Sammy, how could Sammy order her to contact Erland just because she was going out.

'He's doesn't matter! I don't know what's on his mind,' thought Briel, annoyed remembering Sammy's attitude that seemed to command her.

Briel doesn't like being ordered around, and she won't listen to anyone but her family. Other people have no right to interfere in their affairs.

Briel drove her car to her parent's house. She was going to pick up something she had previously talked to Jenny about on the phone.

*** Time passed, Briel arrived at her parents' residence just as Bram also arrived at the residence.

Bram frowned when he saw his daughter coming to his residence again. What else? thought Bram.

"Dad!"

Bram smiled, he greeted Briel with a gesture for Briel to come to him. Briel approached Bram, then Briel hugged Bram.

"What else? Is there anything left?" asked Bram.

"Daddy asks like that like I can't be here," said Briel, then pursed her lips.

"No, it's not like that. It's just that you picked up your things this morning, right? So what's left?" asked Bram.

"The painting for tomorrow's assignment is left behind, so I'll take it," said Briel.

"Oh, I see. Well, take it!" said Bram with a smile.

Briel nodded and rushed into the residence. She left Bram.

Briel did not stay long, she immediately left her parents' residence after taking her painting and said goodbye to Bram and Clara. Briel returned to the Erland residence.

*** Arriving at Erland's residence.

Briel looked at the lights of the house which were already dark. As soon as she got out of the car, she saw another residence that was directly opposite the front of the Erland residence. The lights in the residence were on, then why did the lights in the Erland residence go out? Did Erland forget to pay for electricity? Ah, Briel doesn't think that's possible. Erland couldn't possibly don't be able to afford electricity just for a small house like that?

Yes, according to Briel, Erland's house, which has two floors with a capacity of four bedrooms, is indeed not big when compared to her parent's house, which has four floors and has a large building.

Briel looked at the security post. There are two guards. Yes, Sammy and Suryoto were walking towards her.

"What's going on here? Why did the lights go out? Doesn't it possible your master don't pay for the electricity in this house?" asked Briel when Suryoto and Sammy reached her.

Suryoto and Sammy looked at each other.

"That's it, Miss. At night, the lights must be turned off," said Suryoto.

"Ha? But, why? It's only dinner time," said Briel in surprise.

"That's the rule, Miss. The lights in this house will indeed be turned off at night when Mr. Erland is traveling," said Suryoto.

"Oh, huh? And you don't think I'm here? I live here now, get rid of those vague rules! I can't walk with the lights off like this!" said Briel.

Briel sighed. If she didn't stay at the Erland residence, Briel wouldn't care if the housekeeper in the residence turned off all the lights at the hour that was just about to enter dinner time. However, to Briel's surprise, now that she was living in the Erland residence, did she have to walk in the dark? thought Briel.

Once again, Suryoto and Sammy looked at each other.

"Why? Was this rule made by your master?" asked Briel while looking at Suryoto and Sammy in turn.

"Yes, Miss. But not everything is extinguished," said Suryoto.

'That monster must be a stingy person, he's very economical. Good grief! ' thought Briel.

"Never mind, please turn it on now! I want to go in, but I don't want to walk in the dark. It's uncomfortable!" said Briel, slightly annoyed.

Suryoto asked Sammy to go inside to immediately turn on the lights at Erland's residence. Sammy then rushed into Erland's residence, he turned on all the house lights.

What Suryoto said was true. Only the lights in front of the Erland residence and the lights that illuminate the side of the Erland residence went out. While the inner lights are replaced with dim lights. It's just that from the outside it can't be seen if the lights are on inside because the windows inside the residence are designed in such a way that you can't see what's inside the dwelling even though the lights are on inside the dwelling.

Suryoto and Sammy still follow the rules because, according to them, Erland is on a business trip. Moreover, this afternoon Sammy saw Briel come out. He thought, maybe like last night, where last afternoon Lely said that last night Briel didn't sleep at Erland's residence.

Soon Sammy came back out. Briel rushed to the Erland residence.

Halfway to the room, Briel continued to grumble.

'The people in this house have no respect for me. Should I show the real me? ' mumbled Briel.

"Ah, how annoying, don't let them all go crazy after seeing the real me! ' said Briel, annoyed.
