PART 82

"Shouldn't you be used to it? You said that your life was full of burdens after marrying me, right?" Erland said and turned his back on Briel.

"Hmm... Are your wounds getting better?" asked Briel.

Erland gasped when Briel suddenly touched the gauze covering the wound on the back of his head.

"What are you doing?" Erland asked and hurriedly got up. He looked at Briel sharply.

Briel also sat down.

"Can we be friends?" asked Briel.

Erland raised one eyebrow.

"I know, maybe you find it strange to hear what I say. Or you think I'm a shameless person, but I'm uncomfortable with the relationship between us. At least, I want normal communication. So far, I don't have male friends. But, now you are my husband, I have to get used to it. For some reason, I feel this room, this house, is even bleaker than my room, which is guarded by several bodyguards. I don't feel the warmth in it," said Briel sadly.
