The Murderer Case (2)

Evo's POV

"But that man is innocent."

The prosecution of the man who assisted the victim and the child seems unjustifiable, given the absence of any suspect in the crime. Unlike the initial deduction, the victim's position at the time of her death prevents the case from being concluded as suicide. Furthermore, only the victim and the shoe print, visible in the blue light, entered the room. I can't read the girl's mind; she is the witness, and we can solve the case. I don't want the innocent man to go to jail because he was the first to see the crime scene; he will be a person of interest. The girl's mind was static. It's like crumpled paper to me. It differs from my initial experience at school and with Micaela.

"I know," said Sir Edward. "But that's not what the evidence says. That's why I sent you here to solve this case." Sir Eduard glanced at the girl. "This case is complicated, so I need you."
