Revenge is Best Served in the Form of Taking Away the Things You Enjoy

Karma paced around the penthouse suite, thinking hard. Why could the convenience stores have all decided to stop selling one of their best products? And why so sudden?

The door to the suite opened, and Asano stepped in. "Ace-kun!" Karma's face lit up. "All the convenience stores around suddenly stopped selling my favorite strawberry milk! Could you do some digging for me? Please?"

"No."

"Please!" Karma didn't particularly like Asano, but he was the CEO of some major company, so Asano had a much better chance than him finding out about it. "Please, Ace-kun! Is it because of the trick I did yesterday? I'm really sorry! Please just find out and help me get my strawberry milk again!"

Asano's lip twitched. "Yes, it is because of the prank yesterday. However, I won't be needing to do any digging. And don't worry about the strawberry milk. It'll be sold again in six months' time. After all, I'd hardly want to ruin the income from stores I invested in."

When Asano's words sank in, everything started to click. "It was you! You're the one who stopped the stores from selling strawberry milk! Did you bribe them to stop selling? Or did you just buy the store?"

"It was simply an investment," Asano said smoothly. "Nothing more."

"Nothing more?" Karma looked at him accusingly. "Bullshit! It was all for revenge!"

"You can't prove anything."

"But six months? Seriously?" Karma couldn't imagine going six whole months without his strawberry milk.

"You're lucky I'm not extending it longer," Asano said. "I'm angry enough at you for making blue as it is. Don't give me any ideas."

"Or what?" Karma knew that Asano would most likely threaten him by stopping the sales of strawberry milk longer just to mess with him.

"Or I'll stop the sales of strawberry milk in those stores completely, and you'd have to drive for 4 hours just to get to a store that sells some cheap, horrible-tasting strawberry milk."

"What?" Karma couldn't believe it. "You'd stop one of your bestseller products just to get back at me? While I'm flattered that you think of me so highly that you'd do anything to get revenge on me, shouldn't you be responsible and not let anger get in the way of your judgment."

"It's a bit late for that," Asano shrugged with a light smirk. "And since it's so flattering to you, I'll think about stopping the sales."

"Ace-kun!" Karma whined as Asano went back to his room to work. Karma paced around a bit, before deciding that since Asano wouldn't be cracking by him being nice, he would have to challenge him to lift the ban on sales on his favorite drink. It was dangerous because angering Asano too much would probably result in the loss of his strawberry milk forever, but he had to try.

He walked back to their room and slipped into it. Asano was typing away at his computer, sufficiently distracted enough for Karma to pull out a tube of wasabi and squeeze it into Asano's mouth.

"What the actual-" Asano coughed violently. "What the hell?"

Karma grinned. "Ace-kun obviously won't be lifting the ban on my precious strawberry milk anytime soon, so I wanted to challenge Ace-kun!"

"A challenge?" Asano downed the cup of water on his table to soothe his burning throat. "What challenge is it?"

"More of a bet. I'll spend the entire week trying to convince you to lift the ban on the sales of the strawberry milk. When the time is up, if I managed to convince you, I obviously get my strawberry milk back, along with a day of ordering you to do whatever I want. If you win, you get one day of edering me to do whatever you want."

"I don't see why I should accept," Asano stared at Karma speculatively. "You would be getting more out of the bet than I am, and I could already make you do quite a lot of things by blackmailing you with the threat of my extending the ban on the sales of the strawberry milk."

Karma put on his most confident smirk. "But you're not one to back down on a challenge, are you?"

"... Fine."

"Yes!" Karma grinned. "The one week starts now, by the way." It was ten on a Friday night. "I have until ten next Friday to convince you. I might just go easy on you when I win."

Asano spun around quickly and slammed Karma into a wall. "I'm don't lose, and I certainly won't lose to your little game." Asano leaned in closer, their faces just inches apart. Karma couldn't help but glance down at Asano's lips and looked away hurriedly as Asano said, "And I most certainly won't be going easy on you when I win." Asano let go of Karma's shirt and left the room, leaving behind a flustered Karma.

After getting over his initial shock, Karma grinned. Even if he lost, he was going to give Asano a week of hell.
